Xbox one X freezing FIX, for me at least

I am pretty confident the issue is due to skins (aka cosmetics) being on your gear. Have been so frustrated at times crashing after a death only to wait forever to load back in and lose an expensive map due to time.

Load in game wait for my flasks to appear. Take off all gear with cosmetics. Load into my hideout and flasks appear instantly on screen. Put all my gear back on and then good to go. Hope that helps anyone else out there. Have noticed that it will always freeze if flasks never appear on screen, move couple feet and crash.

LAG / FREEZE FIX FOR XBOX ONE

Hi guys, I was having buffering-like freezing issues, or internet lag, making the game unplayable, just like you described here, but it turns out I found the solution on my Xbox by accident.

I connected my external hard drive to watch some movies and videos and when I tested the game it was working normally. I thought it would be some console or game update and from then on there would be no more problems.

The next day I tried to play again and the Game had the same lag / buffer issues and that's when I noticed that the external hard drive was plugged in when it worked. By plugging the drive into the console, I reset the game started to run normally. It still happens to have some freezing but it is rare with the hard drive on.

I believe that somehow the game needs some extra space to run some kind of processing. I was very anxious and sad about the problem and solving it made me very happy, I'm playing for days without any problems, as long as the external hard drive is connected.
