Can someone check out my build. I'm dying a lot right now even with the buffs. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it better to use the witch now instead of scion? i cant tell much of a difference in trees

The Tree, is pretty much the exact same (the only difference is where we start from and that we have 5 less points to work with which isn't a problem when not using a timeless jewel)

In terms of effectiveness Witch and Guardian are better than Scion now with 3.8, Scion is still a great option that balances some nice things from both classes (Phys mitigation, 2+%AS/CS per aura and perma onslaught when more there's 5 allies) How ever both Necro and Guardian now have something that they can specialise in more.

Guardian Offers Unnerve, Intimidate. (This is nice for builds that dont have those)
It also offers an option of perma onslaught tho not super reliable.
It has 20%all res, 30% inc dmg, 10% more damage, 15% attack and cast speed which is a nice free bump too than it used to have.
On top of the having an easy time getting ES for you and allies thanks to Radiant Faith. AND 10% aura effect from the ascendancy

Necro is less defensive than Guardian since it does not offer that phys mitigation per aura, nor the ES boost that guard has. This makes it harder to gear since you need to get more ES. In exchange tho you get A GOOD chunk more dps for your carry.

Necro provides 3% Attack and Cast speed per aura (scaled by aura effect when all auras are ran this is about 120% attack and cast speed, more with timeless jewel). Necro also gives 10% more dmg , 30% increased damage, and 20% all res.

It also provides shock and chill. to enemies if you take Corpse Pact.
And for defensiveness with Rumis + Bone Offering Necro can get 70+ Attack block which makes it pretty good defensively too.

Each class has its pros and cons

Necro: More Damage (and imo the FeelsGood Class thanks to that massive attack/cast speed bonus)

Guardian: More Defensive and easier to gear and have high ES pool. While still giving really good Dmg

Scion: Less points wasted pathing out, More points to spend, well rounded but has less aura effect now and only 2% attack/cast speed per aura (which is a bigger nerf than one might think)
I have this complete build and I want to sell (blight league)

53% increased effect of Non-Curse Auras from youts Skills
60% increased Area of Effect of Auras Skills

Hello, is there a way to get how much do i have increase effect of auras?
Without counting it manually?

thx
Thank you very much for this great guide!

And also the ongoing discussion and tips.

I am a total newbie in support and want to try it out the next league. So i start to inform myself.

I also checked your builds for guardian and necro. But i have some problems to understand one of the ascendancy notes: Mistress of Sacrifice.
Why did you pick it? And what is with Essence Glutton?

Regards

Fips

Thanks for the plug'n'play guide. <15ex spent, and far superior to the Shav's version I played in the past. Took Aspect of the Spider and Temp Chains/Enfeeble over Determination/misc auras. Very cozy by level 85 with all the natural mana reserve nodes +6 jewels, no issues facetanking full juice 8mod T16s.

Only upgrade I really feel the need for is Soul Catcher for better Discipline/Grace uptime.

Mistress of Sacrifice makes offering skills effect you. Bone Offering gives you spell/attack block, Flesh Offering gives you attack/cast/movement speed. These skills can be automated in your weapon by crafting "Trigger Socketed Spells when You use a Skill".

Essence Glutton gives you tons of ES regen from consuming corpses (Offering skills), as well as passive mana/ES regen for the party with corpses nearby.

@FipsDieGrille

Exactly what the gentlemen above wrote Bone Offering+Rumi's almost cap your attack block (~70%) which is amazing in Rip-y maps/delves. I also gives a really good amount of spell block. Paired with massive Resistances/Amour and Vaal Grace/molten shell makes your really tanky.

On the flip side for Carries that move super fast, Flesh Offering Give you a really good boost of Movement speed (~22%) to follow up faster.

As for Essence of Glutton for mapping it is really good for builds that don't shatter/explode corpses. However after playing around with it i find it not as amazing as i initially thought. Especial if paired with Wicked Ward which halves our regen. Instead i chose to use Corpse Pact for the Shock/Chill you can provide which is a really good damage boost.

Ah i see. I was wondering because it grants no buffs to the allies but it seems you have to take care about yourself still ;).

Good to know about Essence of Glutton, especially because of the shattering i can understand that it may is less appealing than it sounds at first.

Thank you both very much. I am really excited about playing a support next season :D

If you're still unsure about anointing, Void Barrier is a good choice
@_Nuk - is it possible to make Guarding guide for aura support? Everyone says it is the best aura support. At your point of view and experience what do you say?

I really like your guide but am afraid to invest since the scion was nerfed. Also I don't have friends to play with as support :3
