I agree.
Can you please wait at least a month before you start begging and/or bitching for a key? Theres still people who started in 2010 waiting for keys.
The "assassin" or "rogue" or "thief" archetype has a lot of merit because they would all rely on dodge and high attack speeds (which dex passives provide) as well as higher critical attacks (which intellect passives provide). It also fits with the fact that claw and dagger weapon passives happen to be right on the border of the dex and int passives in the passive tree.

It's also hard to expect a nature-based class: from the in-game character descriptions at creation, it appears that the "Ranger" is supposed to be the nature-lover archetype, whereas we don't really have the thief/assassin/rogue archetype used up yet.

On the other hand, we can examples from other games where a "Shaman" or "Druid" might utilize the evidence we see, utilizing quick wit and quick attacks, and using claws as weapons. One can further argue that perhaps "Duelist" fulfils the thief archetype as well, although I personally would find the last to be more of a stretch.
I think a bard character would be awesome. I just hope it fits with the skill gem system. Whatever it is i think it will be great! :)

If it is an assasin, which seems likely, I look forward to the description of why they were exiled.
GGG has got an awesome premise there and I love that they are following through with things like having a trade system instead of currency.
Would have to suck being an assasin stuck on Wraeclast; so much stuff to kill but no way to get any gold out of it
I told you, it will be the beast master :-)

More original than all classes already listed.

A nice original mix between dex and int, which makes this class a summoning one but also a spell (nature) caster.

Nice for dark fantasy i think.
Gorgorath
Why not a druid it's magic(int)+shiftshape(dex) so it makes perfect sense...

Hmm I think a kind of Alchemist would be cool.

He is focussed on fast hits and hit-and-run gameplay, uses potions to empower himself and his teammates with benefits like more damage/critchance etc, likes the use of poison (dot damage) and counter-attacks if he avoids hits.. his hits are weak but fast and he is also capable of using his abilitys to weaken enemys from distance like throwing liquid fire bombs or sneaky traps.

lets say hes a combination of dagger/alchemy/enchanter.

-------------------

Another Concept (since we got a Templar) could be some kind of Dark Magic/Close Combat type. Maybe a Shapeshifter whos is able to transform his Body with dark magic into different forms. for example he is able to transform his arm into a kind of poison-spikes when equipped with a dagger, which improve his attack speed and inject poison into enemys.

or he can Change them into some kind of Snake-heads, which are able to spit corrosive poison at distance, slowing/blinding/or something like that.

his legs he can change into something satyr-like, giving movement speed bonus.

His Back maybe is able to grow some hard spikes which absorb damage when attacked from behind, what would enable some kind of hit and run action.

On High-Level i could imagine even some kind of Dark Crystal Golem Shape, a fullbody mode with high benefits on Attackspeed, damage and some passiv attacks-Deflection which partly throws attacks back onto the enemy, melee as well as spells or distant attacks.

I'd really love a type of Assassin-Mage, that uses spells for illusions and spell-traps and physical enhancements like some slight stealth and fire or lightning upon stabbing, with quick blinks to stab everyone nearby efficiently lol.
When I think about it, I think about a guy/girl that like's killing, and he's good at it, but their education was in the arcane, how to weave and control the magic in an environment, so they use this along with their lithe, agile body and precise aiming, to kill like a boss!

they don't hide at a distance shooting from afar, because where's the fun in that? although, you might think they're over there across the street until you get stabbed in the butt. but they also dont just run in and kill everyone ham-handedly. where's the finese and art in that? its like painting a wall with shotgun.

Yeah, I see someone that smiles all the time, even when staring down the barrel of a seemingly impossible obstacle, because they know the truth, that in just a few more seconds, you're going to die, and the last thing you'll see is that nice little smile.

:)
