GGG sold out to Tencent in May of 2018, just over 1 year ago
people complaining about bugs and saying tencent has anything to do with it.....
guys. we all know how complicated this game is. every 3 fucking months they upload a massive patch with massive added content etc. it should literally be no wonder that things can break so easily, in this game. theres so many interactions and whatnot going on in this game its bonkers, and how much they add is just more strain. theres no confusing with me that once in awhile something would snap. of course it would. but GGG is always extremely fast and open about what broke, how it broke, and fixing it. |

" Ah, gotcha. I disappeared shortly after launch and returned during Delve league so I missed that. I figure the entire point is to grab impulse buyers, and if it works, more power to them, I want to see the game continue for a good long time. Hence why I buy supporter packs. :) |

All three had technical issues. But let's not forget that Betrayal and Synth were both leagues that rewarded you the more you put into it, something this community refused to do and ree'd hard. Which gave us Legion, which rewards you for just mindlessly playing the game.

Your premise that these three leagues were the worse leagues is deeply flawed. There's really no point in discussing pretty much anything with someone that out of touch.

Synthesis was the only bad one.
However, legion is god damn amazing. (just my opinion) "Path of Exile's engine is currently modern, lean and fast." - Chris Wilson, September 19th, 2019
"It looks like we broke something with 3.10.0. We don't know what it is yet." - Bex, March 16th, 2020 |

Please consider too that this deal didn't happen overnight. I'm clearly guessing, but they probably negotiated for more than a year prior to the deal taking place.
