There is a clear trade-off and in most cases unless you are very lucky even the eHP values are not as high as the vis mortis.

you're now backpedaling 15 pages and/to change your argument from self-found drops to continue to pretend a rare chest with the +1 spectre mod isn't generally stronger/can't be stronger/whatever than vis mortis?

Do you know what the chances are of actually permanently destroying the item are to try and get it to the point you are talking about?

Your post is basically speaking of the most ideal roll possible for quite a few builds, The likelihood of this is slim at best.

Anyway like I've been trying to say and leave it at this, I simply wish for the minion node that can drop this be slightly more accessible to the point a player or a group of players stand a chance of finding one during the course of an entire league, Which in Betrayal one of the best leagues for sulphite since Delve itself i did as much with a group of people and we were unable to do so.
