Revert back the pledge of hands change, you ruined it GGG

I play ball lightning in standard.

Since Greater Spell Echo has no cast speed modifier, the balls don't overlap anymore and my damage has been halved, at least.

Not to mention the additional spell repeat basically stun locks you, you can cancel the animation but it still feels like absolute dogshit compared to my 8 casts per second before the nerf to the staff. Casting BL use to feel buttery smooth and they would all overlap.

Even using spell echo + faster casting + greater spell echo still feels way worse in comparison to pre-nerf.

Please revert back this awful change or at least let me keep the previous version of the staff.

My build literally got fucking dumpstered on.

EDIT: ACCORDING TO OTHER PLAYERS, YOU CANNOT CANCEL OUT OF THE REPEAT ANIMATION. WHEN I FAILED AT CANCELING IT I JUST ASSUMED I WAS BAD AT THE GAME, BUT TURNS OUT YOU CAN'T; SO YOU ARE STUN LOCKED IN PLACE WHEN YOUR SKILL REPEATS TWICE. VENDOR TRASH OMEGALUL

Uh, Legacy pledges should still have regular Spell Echo, including the cast speed buff.

The Spell Echo gem itself hasn't been changed, so there's no reason any gear granting it would be affected either.

So this is actually a nerf?

In the patch notes it states that all previous versions of the item has been changed. The staff is no longer supported by the gem "spell echo" it's supported by a thing called "greater spell echo" which isn't even a gem. There is no older version anymore.

I looked on poe.trade and there were some 12% chance to block legacy ones that didn't have the updated text, but when I went to trade the guy it was the updated version. They all changed for sure.

Depends which skill you are using. For ball lightning it's 100% a nerf.

it is worse that before for any projectiles skills.

The only good thing about it is you lose 0 dps with it but everything else is shittier.




You are lock in place way too long and can t cancel the animation.
