Game keeps crashing, no error, just kicks me to desktop

I gave GGG 2 weeks to fix the crashing issue which has made the game borderline unplayable for myself and many others this season. I lowered settings, reinstalled multiple times, etc. Still crashing during delves and losing Sulphite. Crashing in the last room before Izaro in Uber Lab. Crashing in a map with a friend multiple times only to run out of portals.
I've had it. I gave away 15+ex, all of my gear, quit the game, and uninstalled. Such a shame, I loved the Legion mechanics and the league had much potential. |

I've had this issue for the past week myself as a Necromancer. Really kills your motivation to play when delving or mapping. The worst part is that it's so inconsistent: Can crash twice within ten minutes, or it can take one to two hours. Tried re-installing, tried changing settings, nothing seems to work.

When I am solo mapping I have no issues at all whatsoever. But as soon as I join into a party with 1 or more people, I crash AT LEAST once a map.
Im playing Essence Drain contagion with flame dash for movement. Hardly ever crashing on my own so something with party play or certain skills they are using is causing this or even the queuing of multiple actions together with theirs? eh |

I can only say what seems so far to have fixed this in my case on Windows 10. I went into settings and disabled everything to do with game mode and game bar.
I was finally able to finish normal lab and no crashed for the last hour. Fingers crossed, hopefully someone else can get the same results. |

" I will give it a shot, what have I got to lose? Thanks for the advice. Like you other guys I've reinstalled etc, lower settings, switch to predictive mode etc etc etc. The game runs perfectly for me except for the sudden disconnection which can happen in combat or will sorting stuff in my stash. When it happens in combat I always die, always, loss of experience, loss of loot, it just happens to this game. Go fig. |

Hey guys, I had this problem as well but managed to fix it, now I only crash once every 8-9 hours and that's while using multi-strike flicker.
For me it was Nvidia related which may not help anyone under a different card manufacturer. the first thing I tried was changing my settings in game, basically everything to its lowest or default, vsync off, windowed mode, trilinear filtering dynamic resolution = enabled, target framerate = 60, engine multithreading off. those settings did nothing at first so I went into my Nvidia control panel. To get there on windows 10, press the windows key, then type 'control panel' and the option should appear for you to click (the search bar will appear when you start typing. In control panel go to 'Hardware and sound' then 'NVIDIA control panel'. click the second option called 'manage 3D settings' in the '3D settings' drop-down menu then click on the second tab called 'Program Settings'. now that your here you want to use the drop-down to find 'Path of Exile (pathofexilesteam.exe). this will allow you to change the settings your graphics card uses, to be honest I don't understand to well how it interacts but I believe maybe which program controls what is causing the crash so the options I changed to use where Anisotropic: filtering = 8x, FXAA = On, Gamma correction = On, Mode = Enhance the application setting, Setting 4x, the next 4 options I put to global setting. In the next option I selected my GPU (GTX 1070), power management mode = prefer max performance, refresh rate = application controlled, shader cache = on. Texture Filtering: ANisotropic = On, negative Lod = Allow, Quality = High performance, trilinear = on. Threaded optimisation = global, triple buffering = global, vertical sync = application setting and virtual reality = application setting Now I understand this is a long post but I'm an awful teacher, hopefully someone can make a youtube video on these instructions IF they work for other people. The card I use is a gtx 1070. Hopefully this helps some of you. |

GGG is doing everything like shit, all their servers have problems, the game is full of fucking crashes. But they never forget to promote their discounts or any microtransaction..

Game was working fine, up untill 3.7.2 dropped. So, something they did in 3.7.2 now causing desktop crashes for me (no errors no nothing, just a dmp file in documents)... I'm playing Incinerate build (like 15cast per second) with Vaal Righteous Fire, and most of the time my crash happens when i deal with bunch of mobs, like 20+... If crashes happened in normal maps, i would be fine honestly, but 90% they are in A) Delve, B) Incursions, C) Zana 1portal maps. Hurrayyyyyyyyyy.
