None of those limitations would fix as much as just having a way for people to buy directly from others' public stash tabs without regard to the presence of that other person. They control what goes in the tab and the buyout listing, so that is their acceptance of the trade if they leave it that way. This would prevent a lot of the fake listings and some of the market manipulation (though there will always be ways to influence it).

Exactly but they will not do anything about that problem, they have already commented.
If the problem is going to persist and they are not going to put a form of buy / sell out of line (AH for example) some of the measures that I have described could work quite well.
It's better/easier for the community to collectively just keep hammering them about it until they learn.

Getting back on topic here: I actually stopped playing for now, and won't buy supporter packs in the near future.

I felt that after bertayal, changing the master system, delve and now synthesis, there is just too much stuff in the game, which drastically reduced the fun I have in game (this is, of course, my personal opinion - if you like what has been added throughout the last 12-18 months, more power to you!).
At the same time, my IRL responsibilities took away some of the leisure time I used to invest in PoE. Putting both factors together - less time to play, more things in game I don't really like - led me to gradually drift away from PoE, both in terms of time played and supporter packs bought.

I would love to see the game find it's way back to a slicker, less convoluted version of days past. I'm certainly not quitting for good, but I doubt that I'll get hooked again as I once was.

I can relate to this guy's post. I used to buy packs not because I wanted something in those backs, but because I wanted to support GGG as they were giving me a game that I was eating up. I do not understand the resistance to improving the trading system. I'm not advocating for a full AH either. It is just damn frustrating to message so many people about bullshit like maps or currency.
if it ain't broke, don't fix it. trade's not broken. Devs don't want an AH, that's not your choice; throwing money at them won't get them to change their minds.

Trade is broke. It needs fixing. Devs are wrong. Don't give them money until they fix it.

(Man, this style of comment is so easy! I should do it more often, lol)

Really? With a company like Tencent putting $80,000,000 into purchasing your poor little indy you still claim they're in trouble. Gotcha.

Oh, really? A company like Microsoft bought a company like Nokia for many more money. And how did it end?

But I have a better example. Especially for you. Company like Bayer purchased company like Monsanto for US$66 billions. What was the effect of this purchase, read by yourself.

And recently, the equivalent of Chris Wilson at Bayer was ceremonially kicked out from there :)

nokia works for military contractors and governments , 99% of their contracts are amongst those lines

Pretty sure that they will change their mind when the income lowers significantly

The main problem for me isn't trading - as you said, it can get frustrating at times, but I haven't had too many issues with trade.

What I actually meant is that over quite a long period of time, GGG have added content to the game that doesn't interest me as much as the "original" core game. The first of these was Lab - I still don't like it and only run it once per toon. For a while, Lab was the only part of the game I didn't care for.
Then came Bestiary, Incursion, Delve, Betrayal and Synthesis - and changes to Masters. I could have done without all of those.

I can cope with doing Lab once per character, but some of the other content mentioned isn't really "avoidable" while playing, especially considering that acquisition of crafting recipes was forced into parts of that content. So, if I have to repeatedly engage with content I don't enjoy too much, overall enjoyment of the game suffers - which is why, for now, I'm playing other games and stopped buying supporter packs.

Hope never dies, though :)
How many times do we have to say... you cant speak with your stupid wallet.

If you dont buy any mtx or supporter pack what the fuck are you voting against?

Are you voting against expansion itself like 6-10act adition.
Are you voting against labyrinth adition?
Are you voting against crafting revamps?
How the f.. ggg can think - they must dislike hideout revamp.. thats why they dont buy this exact supporter pack..

How is ggg counting which feature was great and which disliked if..
"Are you voting against" insert new feature...
"How the f.. ggg can think - they must dislike" insert new feature...
"How exactly are you telling ggg you dislike" insert new feature...

And what if you like crafting fix..
And what if you like hideout revamp..
And what if you like this delve content... but hate..dislike.. something else..?

If you guys would use 10iq brain and use my questions for each thing you vote agaist, or vote for with your wallet you would see the nonsense..

Dont forget the mtx itself - the whole main reason people buy it. But lets pretend people dont do that. Lets be stupid and pretend people buy supporter pack out of hate for that mtx but to SUPPORT ggg.. as if ggg needs supporting.

edit: the real voting would be if poe was paid!
Every league every adition was paid separately. Dont like it, dont buy it. But no people like children reeee that f2p is better. Ofc being pure online is somewhat hard to do but it wouldnt. You just wouldnt get access to certain content - that is real voting with wallet.
I dislike rarity so much im almost quitting poe2. GGG.
