Speak with your wallet

Hello wallet! How fair thee on this glorious day?
You just made me buy another pack by posting this. GGG is doing great and they should keep it up.

Here's to never ever having a automated trading system!
"Never argue with an idiot. They will take you down to their level and beat you trough experience."
Better trading does not require an AH. Being able to buy without sending many whispers does not require an AH. Preventing all the of the price fixers does not require an AH. Being able to sell without having to stop playing does not require an AH.

GGG already has all the parts required to make a decent trading system but they refuse to do so.

As a result, after the Trade Manifesto came out, I stopped buying supporter packs. It's a good game, but trade sucks.

I actually stopped supporting when Xsolla was instituted. If that was not there I would still be spending money on the game regularly.

just sent them some bucks.

i appreciate that even if they sometimes don't land TehUltraFunLeague with their ideas, at least they had the guts to try.

it's time like this when players aren't happy that they need support the most so tencent doesn't pull the plugs on the international version.

it's not about the money i already dumped on the game, i still like playing poe to relax from a busy working day or have an opportunity to talk with friends.

---

if they introduced automated trade i probably would also speak with my wallet and leave.
imho synthesis failed cause it's been designed to buff the top 5% of players with insane items. that's not me.

automated trade would take away the occasional sale i do as well cause lacking demand would cheapen the prices of most items down to some alterations. and i'm not a fan of using dozens of tools to watch markets. it's clearly against my interest.

Trade has been awful since the beginning. However, if the game was balanced around SSF (which I don't play) and happens to have trade--LIKE DIABLO 2, which they supposedly go their inspiration from--it wouldn't be so bad. This Flashback league has been amazing despite the stupidity of the trade system.

But no... it's balanced around trade, and that's why people want an AH. GGG are trying to have it both ways and ultimately struggling to please anyone.

---

I would actually buy supporter packs in appreciation if they did add the AH. I suspect the people who agree with me are the majority, but it's hard to get firm data on that, so I could be wrong about it, but nobody can know that either.

AH would not take away your sales. You would get more of them. Most of them would be small, but that's already the case for most of us anyway, which is the whole point: Why stop farming for 1 alch - 1 chaos trades?

Anything of substantial value will stay that way because its price comes more from its rarity than its demand. Example, exalted orbs. Even if you allow more players to put them on the market, there are even more players still that will want them. Demand will always exceed supply for them. Same is true of critical items to meta builds such as Impulsa and Eternity Shroud.

In the end, the market would self-balance, so worrying about its meta is pointless and has nothing to do with why you would or would not want an AH.

Forgot that in reality everyone should take the content pack and stop asking questions.

No, people should not stop asking questions. They should not stop making comments, giving feedback, providing suggestions, criticizing things wrong with the game etc. When those things stop happening, that's when you can declare "dead game."

giving the fact that most of the supporters can't handle the fact that stashes are p2w the idea of criticizing constantly GGG for the lack of fixes or even qol changes without having to constantly pay them is the perfect aim to be in an endless cycle of denial and dismiss any sort of negativity with the objective to keep a safe space.. that way the game is "great" and "amazing"

people will get tired of no actions and eventually will leave the game, how many already left without making a thread?
"Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

Poe 0.2/10

Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league. The more things change the more they stay the same..

How could we possibly know? They never made a thread.
vote w/ ur wallet-- this works only if everybody does so.
How many go to the forums to read threads, let alone this specific one?

This broken mess of a game has potential, but g cubed are gonna beat the dead horse with a dead horse until they can't pay their 12 staff salaries

they'll nickel and dime- tho it's more like fiver and tener- you all with content, concepts, art, mtx- all that's been created ages ago, and providing utilities that make the game playable, not pleasurable, that should've been there in the first place.

and they'll never release the 100mb server software, or the archiving alg for the single 16gb file in the folder. a game from 2013 that runs this badly still, has imbalances, discomforts, dis-utility, bugs, bad and incomplete descriptions of skills, items, and overall mechanics of everything;

poe will die out in due time, d2 will live on forever
my frustration with it is only growing, and once it equals the enjoyment i'll delete char, account, browser history of poe and setup poe filters to never hear of this avaricious bunch of boomers
