Another way to do this is to not play and leave. If you disagree with the game itself, why play it? And, if the answers that the developers give is "no", "excuses" or "deal with it", then... bye bye.

1. Currency tab, well useful

1. Essence tab - useless, it's more profitable to just buy the essences at the proper level

3. One quad tab - it was empty from 3 leagues. If I could sell it to someone or give it away for free, I would do it, especially since I'm not playing anymore.
4. 2 other premium tabs - I upgraded them due to possibility to give them different colours and names, they was empty from 3 leagues.
Since when (Abyss league) I stopped collecting anything except currency, some base items, some divination cards and fragments, most of my tabs were empty. If I spent $ 400 on them, I probably would have stopped playing even earlier because of the chaos caused by all these tabs.

I say speak with your wallet and your time. There are many options out there now, and more coming instead of playing this game. I will miss POE for sure, but im drawing the line for myself. As long as GGG wants to keep doing what there doing, and not fix so many areas and issues in the game, then i will not be playing anymore, there is so much more to do then deal with their BS issues.

That's fine and all, but you really think everyone plays the same way you do? I doubt you're that naive or egocentric. You probably know better. There are hoarders in real life; why wouldn't you expect to see it in a game like this?
I don't claim to have spent a fortune on this game, but I have consistently grown my tab collection over the years because cosmetics are pointless to me. The only games where I care about them is when they aren't paid for with real money. Not sure if/when that idea will ever catch on with other players or developers, but that's just how I see it, and it appears some others on these forums share that outlook.

I will do the same thing, i bought many tabs, extra chars slot, armors, effects of skill... on POE and bought supporter pack before the next league if i enjoy the current league. Now, i will stop purchase supporter pack until a good league and trade system improving.

I agree with you. I have been playing Grim Dawn and have fell in love with it, about to enter Ultimate and cant wait. GREAT pace to the game kinda like POE was years ago. As a casual player its pace and loot gathering/char building has been perfect for me.
Im looking into Last Epoch as well, watched a youtuber playing it and it looked pretty fun.
POE was always my fave game but it has grown way to complicated(any new person I tried to get into it quit rather quickly completely and utterly confused) and geared toward the 10 hour a day player or streamer community! I dont fit into either of those.

I have been playing GD again lately as well. Check out the new-ish Path of Grim Dawn mod. The creator is trying to make it emulate PoE gameplay to some extent. I can't really say how successful he has/hasn't been in that regard, but it does significantly improve the pacing and the challenge. It also has some other nice QoL tweaks as well.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

The best way to overcome this is to be sure you have your faction reputations up to the 3rd tier, if not max, so you can buy the augments to plug the holes in your defenses.
