People still playing Synthesis?

Honest and legit question.

yes I'm still playing for now, as still new player I kinda feel I still have alot of content to chew.. not doing so much for the league content anyway.

Lots of people are, about the same as nearly 2 months into any league.

They did say they'd announce plans shortly for a end of the league event. Waiting on that. Minecraft has a new patch. Whee. But not playing the league anymore. Too much else going on.

That's completely inaccurate.

The # of players currently in Synthesis = # of players at the very end of any previous league

Synthesis is past midway through the league cycle, but it appears to have reached 'end of league status' at the beginning of April with very low # of players and continuing.

Edit: As well, many of the popular streamers/youtubers have retracted from this league as seen by their reduced work/coverage in their channels.

Keep in mind, the chart does not segregate the # of players in each play mode of PoE. I suspect, a large majority of players are in Standard.

Currently Synthesis is averaging higher average retention than any other league that didn't have a major version change drop at the same time (well, I can't remember if the Master Update that went out with Betrayal was an actual version change, if not it was higher).

I'm still playing a bit, got a few things I want to do, but as to the Synthesis mechanics I've pretty much ignored them. The Memory decay requires high speed rushing and I simply dislike the playstyle.

The whole memories can be re-located came far too late to save it and the lag locks when Interventions occur that cost me over a level in exp really spoiled the play experience.

Instead of playing 3-4 hours a day I'm playing at most an hour and frequently much less.
