just because you're greedy isnt an excuse for people wanting to buy things to be ignored because you're too greedy to take 1 alch for a map..

tl;dr: if you want to sell something you will make sure the buyer knows that you will sell it.

Haha yeah. I remember that episode and it has PoE trading written all over it.

It's just not worth it to leave a map to sell a 1c or 1 alch item. A lot of people leave them in dump tabs and only sell them if they're sitting in town. The only good solution right now is to join a guild that puts low maps in free tabs or overpay for maps. If the going price of a map is 1c you'll get responses from the 2c people.

Trading here is not fine.
a)If league close to be dead(like right now) - its huge problem for people who still playing. Currency exchange(sextants/fusings/colors/jewelers into chaos) is nearly impossible without spending hours or you can be lucky and find some bot which will trade with you.
b) trading here like "player interaction"(Chris speach) is pointless and boring. Party invite-teleport-trade-"ty&gl". This game have another "player interaction" which more interesting and usefull (uber service/craft service/coop red map farming with sextants and beast scarabs)
and will be nice if they add more player interaction(dungeons may be).
c) The market here is one the most crap thing which ever exist in this sort of RPG games/mmogames or whatever. I want to map farming/do delve/craft something and i dont want spending hours to whisper people which doesnt answer me.(its very often when you want to buy "craft base" for 1-2 chaos). This market is pain for buyer and for seller.(cause seller also have to leave map/spend portal or leave delve/nexus/hurry up with zana map etc.)
d) Many people crying "If we get auction,game will be dead,a lot of bots will come etc etc etc". Another games have auction,another games ban bots (right now trade bots actualy is good because smt only they answer to you if you want exchange currency//when league is dead).Bots is not the undefeatable devil.


This league showed to me how stupid this mechanic when i spend 1 hour and couldnt exchange my fusings into chaos in prime time with normal price(i started from 310 fus./100 chaos then 327 etc... then 400fus /100 chaos) - people just silence. I dont want to play in "trade emulator"

Acually may be community have to make protest against this trading system that ggg start to do something.
P.s. league full of bags (betrayl freezes,bugs with loot in nexus,loot nerf etc.) Protest may be will show that GGG have to listen players. For example we can make same protest that was in "For honor" - people just dont enter into the game few days and if we make it at the begining of new league - MAY BE it will bring the result.

Didnt GGG said that they dont want any sort of AH anyway? I saw a thread couple weeks ago and someone said that they will never make any sort of AH for PC..

There has to be some sort of solution here.. because the buyer losing money and the seller making profits because he got lucky to get the buyers map and the buyer pay extra otherwise he wont answer at all is really bad not only as community but as design itself of 'trading' in this game.

GGG give pc players a worst trade system because they try to keep player staying at game longer, i bet we will get AH if all pc players stop buy any supporter pack in future. Why chinese POE, ps4 POE, xbox POE all have AH? they are all new market, ggg need AH to please new players.

We are almost 2 montsh into a league. In addition to that, in 3rd month of the league we will get Flashback event, so its almost like end of the league.

3 weeks ago some dude put thicket up for 1 alch, what was then kind of worth it for him to respond to. now he doesnt even bother inviting for a trade for anything below 5c.
okay, might aswell just go up in price and hope people get their asses up.
i literally just messaged 20 guys, probably 10 of them the same guy with multiple listings for 2 chaos each t5 map.
i did not get a single response, but my wrist hurts.
so i either overpay heavily to get the elderblob around, which then isnt profitable anymore with it sometimes disappearing now, or it involves literally minutes of spamming.
is there a website or a tool i am missing that works better?
if not:
plz change this. if someone doesnt respond to a trademessage, take that item of the market and blur it out so ppl see they have to relist if they want to...

ps: this will also lessen the occurance of ppl messaging sellers for an item, but then ignoring invites for the trade, as they wont have to spam 30 guys anymore to get a chance of someone responding.

the gating of content behind RNG in this game is awful and it gets worse every league, as does the trading gauntlet.
