" He obviously meant finding them as in having them dropped. Using the word raid makes him look like a total newbie but I still could understand what he meant. No clue how you could interpret that as slamming maps with exalts TBH. |

And i didnt interpret it from there, i took it from the chart he has in the thread for recommended currency to use on maps by level/tier Map Level Item Order Levels 66-68: Transmutation Orb, Alteration Orb, Augmentation Orb Levels 69-70: Alchemy Orb, Chaos Orb Levels 71-73: Cartographer’s Chisel, Alchemy Orb, Chaos Orb Level 74 and Higher: Cartographers Chisel, Alchemy Orb, Chaos Orb, Exalted Orb |

exalting maps was something ladders people were doing in like 2013. No idea why you would do that for currency drop tho.

Firstly, it's nice to see an article on POE that aims to be newbie friendly. An applause!
However, it's a pity that said article is badly written and full of Incorrect information, taken just from the section about chaos recipe: - Ex 1: "... sell an entire set of gear in order to achieve anywhere from one to two chaos orbs" (it's up to 3, which you said so later) - Ex 2: "For a complete set ... a single one-hand weapon and a shield" (it's two 1-handed items, can be weapon-shield, weapon-weapon or shield-shield) - Ex 3: "[for chaos recipe] almost every piece must have an item level higher than 60. At least one of the pieces of gear must be between level 60 and level 74" (wrong, the lowest ilvl must be between 60 and 74 while the rest can be at the same or higher level, no "almost" here) Aside from the above, which should never exist because all you had to do is to check the wiki, a couple comments regarding the first few paragraphs: there is too much emphasis on scroll of wisdom. Who trades with wisdom anyway? And either stick with calling yellow items "rare" or "uncommon". Actually, don't call them uncommon. Don't interchange them. Back when I was working as a volunteering editor for a non-profit magazine, I would sigh deeply and immediately return this piece without a second thought. Then proceed to glare at the writer while I explain the importance of research and fact accuracy. Sorry, gave up on reading midway. Won't comment on farming. " Okay, I've now read some of it. Not all. I agree that he has no clue what he is talking about. Most of it feels like guesses and made up fact aimed for teaching a chimp how to play. With that said, he never talked about slamming maps with exalts. Perhaps I missed something. |
