Do you buy a new engine whenever bad gas start choking your car?
You will not solve the problem, you will just make it less annoying. Your car will still choke, and you will continue to use bad gas. The answer is: always buy a better engine each time or ask for good gas? "There's no thing like random one-shots in this game. You only die because you take 353,456,237 hits in 0.2 seconds."

if only the real world was like that, then we would all still be gaming on our geforce 4's.

" Actually there is excellent freeware programm BES (battle encoder shirase) can help with that. Its simple and free, guide how to use you can find on this tool offical page. Basically this tool can limit your cores by choosed percentage (1-3% is enough), which prevents overloading and stuttering. This tool was worked flawless for me in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, i even posted that on nexus mod, and that was helpd thousands people to enjoy their game. Cheers =__=)/ ps: you can read short my guide how to use it on nexus too: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/133 |

" As proven by my example, HDDs or SSDs have literally NOTHING to do with the intervention freezes. Dunno why people keep talking about SSDs in relation to the intervention freezes... Yeah SSD is better than HDD, but it's not needed and has NOTHING to do with this particular thing that people are having problems with. |

@lacnee
Yeah thanks man for that and the PM. Might check it out at some point, but i sent this info to GGG's tech support as well and hopefully it will help them fix this problem on their end... which is what we really need at the end of the day. Last edited by Paldamus#1328 on Mar 30, 2019, 6:38:00 AM

" perhaps it might if all this syndicate stuff is tied to disk speeds or something. enough to actually freeze up someones computer or something. i play mainly in standard and ive never had my shit literally freeze up at any point like many others have complained about. but it does give me a slight bit of a slowdown whenever im mapping and theres shit going on all over the place and then the syndicate gank squad spawns over me. but its never enough to lockup or get me killed or anything. im running a strix 2080 and this game doesnt even make my card break a sweat though. its the cpu this game seems to want to go a bit hard on more than anything. i really dont know whats behind this syndicate performance issue stuff many are experiencing. i was just talking about SSD's and loading screens before. loading is instantaneous on this game with an SSD and i dont see how it could hurt to use one if your pc is freezing up every time the syndicate starts loading in? i really dont see what else could be causing the issue if the rest of your hardware is up for the task. for all i know its just the optimization of the game itself. but im just saying maybe an ssd would alleviate the issue if the game is already chugging for you off an HDD during instances where stuff is loading in? It's multithreading i think. For some reason the syndicate interventions are not using all the cores of a CPU and only use 1. They need to fix that.
Go read my thread man, i have already shown how it has literally nothing to do with harddrives. Yes as i said SSD>HDD, BUT this particular issue persists on SSDs too and even on monster rigs. It has nothing to do with hardware. One thing in a bunch of code can be wrong and an entire process grinds to a hault. They somehow bugged 3.6, when it worked fine in 3.5. Seeing as the betrayal freezing/crashing is not even listed on the critical issues list I kinda doubt it'll be resolved anytime soon, if at all.
Oh well, was fun while it lasted. |

" They GOTTA be working on it though, there's a thread on the tech forums with like 50 pages going on, there's reddit posts with thousand + upvotes and every day new bug reports are being made in that subforum + ppl prolly contacting tech support. This is a MAJOR issue that is driving away lots of players. Last edited by Paldamus#1328 on Apr 1, 2019, 5:49:59 AM
