This issue has nothing to do with SSD, amount of RAM, type of card, OS, or anything obvious. If you look at the dxdiag there is nothing in common among them that I can see.
There are people with expensive gaming rigs that have it, people with toasters, and all points in between. My guess is a corrupt file or something?
One day I shall actually make a high end gaming rig that uses its excess heat to make toast lol
I dont see any any key!

Since the start of Syntesis league I'm having a HUGE problem, not only with Syndicate but with all of the content when it comes to loafing time, lag and FPS drop.
I had sometimes very low fps with no reason. Solved for myself with this actions (which helped me in another game before):
1. Press ctrl+alt+del - Open Task Manager
2. Select PathOfExile.exe and choose: "set affinity" - Then unselect all your CPU cores except first, wait a little - then enable all cores back.
3. Set higher priority for PathOfExile.exe process
This is only one action that can solve sudden FPS drops, and i tried almost everething that you can find about this problem before.
Hope it helps you.

Hey man fucking NOICE! I tried it and it helped. Intervention froze my game before and now it's smooth :)
People that keep yapping on about ssds and shit have no clue. This is a software problem that GGG needs to fix on their end.
My question though is that, how do i make it so those affinity and priority settings are saved and i don't have to do them every time i start playing PoE?

Wow that's messed up. I thought so. So it literally fixes the interventions and yet i have to manually pop it every time? Wtf lol... GGG needs to be made aware of this info, so they can fix their client to activate this shit automatically or smth.
I tried many things like reinstalling the game (that would obv include the "delete cahce, delete minimap folder, delete shaders etc"), disabled trademacro and lootfilter, tried predictive instead of lockstep, tried some RAM settings that i don't quite remember, tried the --noasync launch parameter, defragged my hdd etc....... and none of these worked UNTIL this guy's solution literally fixed it...

Do you have other stuff running like Steam downloads or AV scans? If changing the processor affinity helped that much then you might have other software getting in the way.

Can we get a zana mod for "Cannot have Syndicate"? I'd use it on every map!

get an ssd. loading screens take up to 2 seconds at most.
its 2019. i couldnt imagine playing games or even loading windows without one.
Buy a Ferrari. 0-100 takes 2 seconds.
It's 2019. I couldn't imagine driving without one.
good luck buying that ferrari when you cant afford an ssd for your "great gaming PC"
seriously go and buy one. theyre not expensive and they make a huge quality of life improvement. not just this game but for any game with loading screens. plus having windows boot up and be ready to go in seconds, rather than minutes is always a bonus.
they are cheap now, theres pretty much no reason to not have at least one ssd in your pc these days. at least for your windows install plus a bunch of the games you play the most that have loading screens. i'd have to say that without an ssd youre pretty much doing yourself a disservice. and if you think the loading screens on an hdd are bad enough for this game to whine all over the forums about it, god help you if you ever install final fantasy 15.
Stop this bs. Lots of computers come with only 10gb ssd. Do you know why? Cuz its fucking expensive and nobody needs more than that!
And now you are telling me to buy another ssd just because poe is larger than10gb. Do you realize how condascending you are? Im sorry but telling people to buy ssd just for a game published many years ago is bs at its best.

No, i don't use Steam. Playing on standalone client and i don't have any antivirus scans or anything running in the backround 24/7 either xD

you can buy a cheap 240 gb ssd for $45.
https://www.amazon.com/PNY-CS1311-240GB-Internal-Solid/dp/B019H3B3OW
if it gets to the point where a ssd breaks somebodies bank and they can no longer afford their habit, perhaps pc gaming just isnt really for them and they should go buy an xbox or get a better job or something.
and a 10 gb ssd? do they still even make those things? even all the prebuilt garbage will come with at least 120 gb. but its nice to see that people are still gaming on a potato.
nobody is forcing anybody to go buy computer hardware. if somebody wants to live in the 90's and deal with slow loading times and long loading screens every time they turn on their computer and fire up a game, thats perfectly fine. power to the player. but complaining about it when they choose not to bother solving their issue is completely moot. either put up with it or do something about it.
hell i couldnt even imagine trying to play this game or many other games without an ssd. makes a world of difference and i dont even know what a loading screen is on this game, so i have no reason to shit all over GGG over such a petty issue.
