The Blizzboy effect is real.

I've always thought the blizzard fans fall into groups like that, though I seperate them into two groups personally. The people who played games when Blizzard was a cutting edge developer and spun gold. And the people who inherited the idea that Blizzard was a cutting edge developer from those people without having actually played the gaming backbone it was built on. Blizzard in its current incarnation can only exist from the second group because they are the ones that won't hold them responsible for not meeting standards. The first group stopped playing their games a long time ago lol. Last edited by Draegnarrr#2823 on Mar 22, 2019, 9:28:21 AM

It has nothing to do with "Blizzboys", but the way gaming forums have been since the beginning.
1. A gaming company makes some questionable decisions. 2. The forums get flooded with grievances and complaints. Now I am not going to say all these forum posts are pinnacles of constructive feedback (A lot of them are just whining), but what do you expect? Not everyone has time to write a dissertation about why they believe a company's decision wasn't the best and how it can be improved upon. 3. Two groups of forum users form. The vehement complainers and the brave and totally "badass" anti-complainers. 4. The two groups brigade each other on the forums. Insults are flung around, any nuance and meaningful discussion is lost for the most part minus a thread or two. 5. The gaming company in question either does something to fix the grievances or does not. 6. The rage dies down due to the issue being fixed or the complainers running out of breath, because they haven't gone outside in several years. 7. Go back to 1. |

This league is a crafter league, therefore it sucks donkey balls. On top of that it is also extremely un-rewarding and extremely buggy. Nothing to do with D3.

You're pretty noob yourself has nothing to do with D3 but G3...starting in Gen 3 there is too much micromanaging. Too much time in HO and alt tabbed looking how to do leagues rather than only puzzle before was building toons. Gen 3 has gotten away from the simplicity of run fast, kill shit, get loot occupying 99% of your time. Instead that occupies 50% rest of time is micromanaging and other tedium.
There has been a couple Gen 3's that harkin back to old school like Abyss and Delve and they were most popular. Most of them suck though. I pretty much ignore all the new mechanics and still can get to end game quit easy SSF since drops so good and ridiculous power creep this game has had last few years. Ignore - 99% useless temples. 99% useless beasts (before patched). Useless Synthesis. Useless prophecy. Sadly you can't ignore Betrayl because you need recipes and can't lock them in lab anymore. It's a necessary evil like the labyrinth. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Mar 22, 2019, 9:48:18 AM
