No mention of unveiling improvements though...guess I'll be farming Quarry until my eyes bleed to get my crafts before the nerf. Hope the "fix" doesn't drop until Thursday or Friday. FeelsBadMan.

I'm so glad that you are working on the Intervention Freeze crap encounter... we need one more thing - just make Intervention to be second or third encounter on maps. You will ask why? Because people who want just to level up their characters on maps must have some kind of choice to do the map or not to do it when there is Betrayal encounters. This way Betrayal will be avoidable by the particular character we play.
For example: I want to lvl up my MF Build, but i can't do it on maps just because every time i enter a map with Betrayal missions, after several steps in it the first encounter is Intervention and the chance to survive is minimal, the ruslt is -10% Xp. So if the first encounter is Research, Transportation or Fortification we will notice that on the map... Aaand everything is fine i will just say - OK, i'm not doing that crap map with high percet death chance aka xp loss. So you are saying: Reducing number of additional monsters that spawn during Betrayal Intervention encounters. Monsters will respawn less frequently as well. Intervention targets will now deal less damage for a short duration after they have spawned. This is intended to give players more time to react and to re-position as needed. Soo less damage, but i'm not sure that this will fix the problem. Just let people to make choice, to have option not to do Betrayal. The other thing i want to mention is - When you'll add Deckard Cain to the game. I mean DO YOU NOT HAVE Deckard Cain GGG? The end game must have NPC who identify the whole inventory.It's so stupid to click 234235 times to identify things every time we are back from maps or elsewhere... this is just time wasting. So please add this option, maybe Tasuni is perfect to be Deckard Cain.Invite Tasuni to hideout to identify and all the people are happy. And please unable the selling option on Navali, people are just suffering from that. Do you not even watching streamers compilation clips on youtube?Come ooon guys -_- Aaand we are waiting for the Map Stash tab Remove only fix, from the past leagues. You know what i'm talking about. Thank you in advance! I hope someone from GGG will read this. |

Oh my freaking god, THANK YOU!
As someone who plays on a near potato laptop, having a % chance of just dying at the beginning of each map because of the intervention encounters (not to mention not being able to farm them) was SO frustrating. |

easier solution - remove Betrayal completely from core. Do people really enjoy it that much? Most of the opinions seems to suggest otherwise...

Feels odd that they're finally fixing Betrayal content a month after Betrayal ended.
GGG, please patch the issues with loading Betrayal encounters in. This should occur when the map first generates, but instead occurs when the first Betrayal enemy pops up. I had to move my game from my HDD to my puny system drive to continue playing, as I'd otherwise lock up for 20 seconds just to find out that I died. |

Hate to be all negative, but this announcement is not really something i'd be super proud of were I GGG.
Most of those address Betrayal league implementation and really are things that should have been tackled before synthesis as for the most part (freezes and lags not included) they relate to things that were lessons learned from Betrayal league and don't pertain to Synthesis league. Furthermore, I feel this announcement does very little to address the most broken things in the current Synthesis league mechanics. So maybe they pertain to those things you mention as being worked on, but ya know. Maybe release a product of quality next time for a change, not a beta proof-of-concept-work-in-progress-we-have-no-clue league. Finally, there is no mention of what i feel is at the core why Synthesis league fails to create fun and does the opposite: infinite amounts of uninspiring loot to religiously hoard in the hopes of to eventually craft (through the use of a vagilion stash tabs and 3 or 4 third party databases) a 4% better item than you would otherwise. This sucks the fun out so hard, i can't even. But then i could also mention the fact that you keep designing increasingly demanding league mechanics without realizing that those stack as they go core and end up feeling like meaningless chores that constitute busy work that you have to invest ludicrous amounts of time into to obtain anything rewarding. Also, another league where achievements are decisively fucked, fail to trigger, are excessively grindy, obscure, and don't respect your time at all. Man this games goes in the wrong direction. Sorry, but i'm jumping ship when the next arpg comes around ;) You sure are good at designing mtxs, every goddamn day- |
