Bane and Doedre's Skin

So I was going to use Doedre's Skin with Bane to bypass the curse limit on enemies, but something odd happens when you link Bane with any curse in Doedre's Skin.

You can cast Bane but it doesn't apply the curse, this made me think that it was just overwritten by the blasphemy portion of the armor, but you cannot use the blasphemy either because it says it's cast by a trigger, but as I just said it doesn't actually apply the curse with Bane.

Yes the curse can be cast by Bane it's within level requirement.
Bane lvl18 and Despair lvl 18

This is expected functionality. Both Bane and Doedre's Skin are trying to trigger the curses. Active skills supported by multiple triggers are disabled.

Do you need to spec into or wear gear that increases your curse count to use more than one curse with bane? Or does bane itself allow more than one curse?
