Hello I have the same problem since the new update, I still have not found a solution. But I know it's because they deleted DX9 and my GT 240 graphics card does not support the DX11. For me the game that launches I start at the beach and the game this farm like an alt + f4 and impossible to do anything.
If anyone has an idea how to play PoE with DX9 I'm interested. Thank you.

I think youre out of luck, unless they bring back dx9 support your card wont run the game :S

I had the same Problem with the "no display modes.."
Tried many times through the NVidia Solution mentined below but didnt get any Apply button or so...
UNTIL i was in that menu and didnt press but tried to drag the Monitor saying "1" and that game me a Apply. I did Apply and now the game works for me.

After fiddling with files, settings etc etc, I kinda brute forced a solution. I ended up reinstalling windows and all my drivers, including nvidia. The game had no problems launching then.

Man, GGG should comment on this issue. I've been playing since 2013 and never had an issue. And as you can see I'm also a long time supporter, I just want to play this league but it doesn't seem like I'll be able to

DUDE thank you SO MUCH, I've been looking for a fix for about 2hours until I found the display error message. Poe was actually thinking I had 6 Monitors(what the fuck) and this fixed it for me FINALLY AH.
