to be fair, arc will do like 8% less damage or so? Which doesn't seem problematic to me at all.

The chain length also is a non issue for trappers since your throwing in packs and the initial cast doesn't have a limit.

It seems fine to me for such a powerfull build.

The chain length is the real nerf, not the damage.
It's designed so Arc Trap can no longer screen-clear, while self cast Arc still potentially can.
It's a clever kind of nerf to fit the new self cast philosophy.

To be fair I knew a nerf was coming, but I thought they will just murder the Trap support.
This is surprisingly clever.
