Stress Test Weekend impressions/suggestions
Love this game. Great vibe and gritty feeling, Awesome loot and cool skill set up.
It has probably been said but the only 2 things that bug me are the massive map overlay, can i just make it smaller and put it somewhere in the top of my screen. 2. That I have to always click "upgrade skill" why is this not automatic. Stay out of the shadows

I am going to add to my previous post.
-The portals are too easy to go into. Quite a few times I went to town and then right back. -I think there should be an added sell button while you are in purchase mode with a vendor. Something like "Switch To Sell" or maybe a tab. It seems pointless to esc then go back. -I think there is an error with the dps calculations with double strike. I had venom strike I think which said ~1600 dps and my double strike at ~1100 dps but double strike was clearly killing faster. " Oh yeah, and I usually play a ranged class. So most times I will miss loot just because the melee classes are right in the thick of the action while I am distanced from the battle. I can say that I will certainly not party with strangers if I'm looking for loot while playing a ranged class with a cut-throat loot system. So I guess that just swung my vote to the personalized loot side of things for party play. |

A minor suggestion/bug.
Let the '-' (hyphen/underscore) key be used in hotkeys. I play with a 17 button Naga mouse and one of the buttons is linked to the hyphen key. So it saddened me deeply when I couldnt use the hyphen key for easy access to a skill. The plus/equal key worked though. Which i thought was a bit wierd |

Hi all !
I do agree most of the ideas told here (appart from separated loot for players : the game is good that way) There is only few thing I could add : It would be really important to be able to bind mouse buttons 4 and 5 to skills slots (and even more of the for ones with MMO mouses). You must be able to equip items and move them in you inventory while trading with vendors, in my opinion. Apart from that, I think this game is really fantastic, and I'm eager to be able to play it again... Thanks a lot, GGG ! |

I managed to play as a Witch to level 31 or 32.
Game was easy all normal difficulty long. Playing with a lot of minions felt easy and it was fun how they sometimes wander somewhere and fight enemies without me being around. I also noticed that at the first I could use 2 Rise zombie skills at the same time and have double amount of zombies. But in the next day it was fixed :D One thing that should be worked on though. When I enter new area all my minions disappear! I can understand them being gone when I teleport to town but even then it can be a problem finding new corpses. Same goes for other skill, like Tempest Shield and Wrath. Items being currency is interesting idea. Best part being how noting gets more expensive. I don't mind how small is my inventory but it felt strange how giant was my stash. I suppose I still could fill it with stuff if I had more than 2 days time but its still so huge. Was a little disappointed about how act 2 ended without boss fight. But yeah, the main purpose was stress test, right :) Since I had only 2 days I skipped most of the conversations so I can't really rate the story (if there is one). |

I find nothing wrong with the loot system, nor the upgrade orbs etc. It was fun finding blue gear then upgrading it to rare to find some brilliant or nerfed stats added. I became careful about what i took back as well, white items were dropped and blue/yellow items sold.
Although i did find it annoying when attacking a large mob i found i was auto picking up items i did not want because a mob was standing on the item LOL, but again that became a game within itself, dropping items like crazy. So OK i did not have a Beta key (Cough) but the stress test was so addictive and fun i will be dontating to this as soon as pre orders are announced. I did find Puncture level 1 did not work well when in a 2 slotted weapon, i had to remove the other slot gem then it worked fine. |

" there is an option under the UI tab that when enabled you need to hold down the alt key to pick up items. I also found the filter white items option quite helpful. you can also set it to always show the items/chests on the ground. |

I don't think anyone said that there was something "wrong" with the loot system. We were pointing out how it could be improved.
Let me ask this: Would having personalized loot prevent you from making a party with strangers, or anyone for that matter? I don't see why it would. It's no different than playing solo as far as loot is concerned. But you get the added benefit of team play. Would not having personalized loot prevent some people from making a party with strangers? It certainly would. I don't need to quote the different reasons given again. The point is, having the personalized loot system will only help to encourage friendliness amongst players. Rather than having a lot of people who only play solo so people will not jack their loot. The reduced friendliness of the server will only hinder it's growth. If the loot system is left like it is it will not prevent me from playing the game. I can play solo or only with friends and be perfectly happy. But it will certainly have an effect on my party play with strangers. I got tired of melee classes jacking my loot years ago (I'm usually ranged). So I just don't play with strangers. Problem solved. Which is the better route? |
