Sarlaiel's DW BM Duelist Build. High life/dps/aoe/regen/block. The perfect DW build

awesome build best i played so far, running it in softcore atm (lvl 50) gonna make one in hc later on.

atm im using cleave with faster attacks + life on hit and dual strike with life leech and melee physical dmg gem. leap slap cause i love jumping around and its a nice skill to get out of oooooh shit situatations, flicker strike may be better but i prefer leap slam

Puncture if kiting is needed, dont use it much tho. grace and anger as auras and warlordsmark as curse. works fine but i feel kinda squishy sometimes, prob cause of my bad gear or low block chanse atm.

and im goin for evasion on my gear, block chanse is on 33% atm but i havent take blade barrier yet

I'll mirror a post already brought up, why post this if you don't want anyone to figure out your build? It's pointless to post this if you're not going to share what skill gems you are using. I was originally going to run this build but have opted out and decided to try something else as this is useless and contributes nothing to the community without the knowledge of your skill gems and gear - gems in particular.

Instead, I have pretty much decided to hunt through every post you have made and every future post looking for what the skills are. So far, I am pretty sure Whirling Blades is at least included. I'm currently on the 21st page of your posts, but will continue to go back. I hope you instead choose to just be helpful, and understand that your build is not groundbreaking enough that the price will rise. You're not kripp, and whatever the build IS doing has probably already been done. Don't expect the non-quality skill gems to bump up to 10 exalted.

Just be nice, share that information, and help the community. =)

Why post the passive build at all if you're not going to explain how to even use it?

I completely respect his desire to not be copied, in fact I think I even covered that. If I didn't it was a mistake and I MEANT to.

However, his posting of the passive tree but not the skills is useless and contributes nothing.

Something's a bit fishy here. This build is by no means optimized. Look at all the suboptimal points in Ranger.

Lava Lash is the giveaway. My guess is he uses Infernal Blow linked with Weapon Elemental Damage and Added Fire Damage gems. Nothing really ground-breaking there.

I wouldn't lose too much sleep over this build. It's not hard to break 10k+ single-target DPS on any damage-oriented class with 5L/6L gear, quality gems, and a decent weapon, which are all just a matter of having enough money.

Sorry, but I agree with Menthol: acting like there's some mysterious secret that no one's discovered yet and refusing to share your skill gems is lame. Why even start a build thread when you're not willing to comprehensively explain the build? Totally goes against the spirit of sharing builds.

My thoughts EXACTLY. The build itself isn't anything new or groundbreaking. It, with only seeing the passives, is just an unoptimized generic build. It offers literally nothing by being here other than a smug attitude toward it all. "I've discovered something amazing, and want you all to know it's amazing - but won't tell you what it is." - that's just ludicrous.

Infernal blow could be the secret, indeed. I'm still going through his posts for now for any details I can muster.

EDIT: I have officially ready every post he's made on the forum. All I know is the guy complains about dying a lot, and in the past (a few months ago) made claims to dying every 10 minutes in the game. I'm beginning to think it wouldn't be a good idea to listen to his build ideas then. I will continue to look into every post he makes, and even look out for him in game (and asking other players). It's just not right to post a build like this, then not give the most important information.

The reason I posted my passive tree is I feel like this passive tree could be used successfully with many different build types. I think (hope) its helpful to people.

sounds good. One small bit of advice. Temporal chains imo is a much better curse to use than warlords mark.
