advice for low life build (35% of max)?

I don't consider it OP considering you'd take more ES damage if you had no Chaos resistances. That's what I'm assuming because it's not making you immune to chaos damage, just that it doesn't bypass your shield - that's how I'm reading it. It just happens to be one of the uniques that if you found it you'd go, "Wow, this is actually useful if I made a build around it!"

Now where's that 800+ES 6link doing the rounds... did someone mirror that already?

An item can be "unqiue" and special without being overpowered.
This one is both and needs a nerf.
Either change it so it has:

1) No ES on it
2) -Chaos res (credits to above posters)
3) add some other drawback, like -xp gain, -item rarity (like voidhome), -elemental res etcetc


This armor basically gives you a keystone with 0 Drawbacks

Not really. With CI, you could get a rare item with much better mods on it (about twice as much ES, for starters), and be completely immune to chaos instead of having it wear down your ES.

Shavronne's is almost certainly best in slot for builds that run low HP but don't take CI, but that's because these builds have all sorts of problems with chaos damage otherwise. If people come up with totally imba characters based on low HP (low life mods, Righteous Fire and so on), then this item will probably get nerfed, but until that happens, let's just wait and see how it works out.

Invalesco already has. And he's doing it without this chest and with +75% Chaos Resist.

BUT! His build is beyond the reach of most of the population, as powerful as it is. This chest's base piece is also hard to come by. Its on the same tier as Glorious Plates and Imperial Bows and doesn't drop all too frequently, even in 69+ maps so I do not see the whole fuss about this chest being too powerful.

I don't see how the chest is OP. It's a decisional basis guys. Use it, or don't use it. It's useless for those who have HP. And HP was already more proficient (Kaom's) than ES. I think this unique is building a balance between HP and ES and to say that it's OP would be missing the entire point between ES and HP.

Create threads how much you hate the dimmed screen, that gives you a chance of survival on dungeon maps without being flicked from nowhere for example.

The new Unique ES Chest +

Pain Attunement
Righteous Fire
Lots of ES Nodes
Blood Magic + Purity

+ Maximized Chaos Resists and ES on items.

I plan on doing this if I can ever get my hands on that chest.

Yup. And even with his elite items, you can actually see he's making big sacrifices to run RF permanently. It still eats almost all of his ES regen unless he drinks a ruby flask, for instance. So it's not obvious that this build is vastly more powerful than what he could do with a more normal build. Given it's Invalesco, I'm sure he could come up with a whole heap of builds that take his power level to over 9000. That doesn't mean they all need to be nerfed.

Actually it would make his build easier. Since he dont have to maintain a large enough hp pool for chaos damage. lesser hp also mean RF is easier to counter. Also, he would do a lot more damage if he decide to go low life with Redbeak and Pain Attunement.

That unique does open up an entire new class of builds, where you would run say 2x 40% reservation auras tied to a blood magic support. Then you would permanently benefit from low-life mods. Do'nt bother with any hp nodes, get all the ES ones and Ghost Reaver and Vaal Pact. Then it's a case of running whatever offense you feel like.
