Melee Weapon Range - need explanation

bump for better threads
I would like to make a formal request to the devs to add +1 melee range to end of tier 2hand axes (void/abyssal/shadow axe). Unless this makes cyclone unbalanced. If 2hand axes cant cyclone anyways oh well.
Does this mean that all other skill beside Sweep, Cleave and Ground Slam would benefit from Melee Weapon Range?

Because from the explanation, that's the way I see it.
Yea didn't get much clarification on that, so does it apply to Whirling Blades or not?
Is the AoE bigger for splash damage melee attacks if you have +2 to melee range due to a passive?

in general Skills that are labeled as "aoe" like cleave and groundslam don't profit from Melee-Range. Every other "melee" "attack" does.
Whirling Blades doesn't have an "aoe" so it should work, same as cyclone.
Melee-Splash has an "AoE" so range shouldn't work - on the other hand the Area Skills stuff in the Templar region should work.

BUT I got this along the way on my cleaver and for the love of god I don't notice the smallest of a difference while using dual-strike

ah and btw. Whirling Blades genereates a huge amount of desync - i wouldn't recommend using this Skill

Unarmed range? Can't find the info anywhere.
Brutus. Do you even sync?
If I have a melee range of 5 that is enhanced by an "Increased Area of Effect" of 30%... so 5 * 1.3 = 6.5 is the melee range rounded up to 7 or is it truncated to 6?

Thanks

If i get unique amulet with +2 melee range, duelist +2 melee range, and im using a 2-hander

will i get flickered 9 units away from target, or 5 units away ?

how does melee splash gem and melee range interact ?
