Map stash tabs!

Can you maybe do subtabs for old leagues within the map stash or grant additional map tabs to people who have bought them whenever you shuffle the atlas?

I was coming here to make a map tab post.

If they are going to constantly change the atlas, they need to find a way for us to combine map series. This is getting out of hand.

Let us have T12 Summit in the same tab as T15 (not the same sub-tab obviously). Let us mass migrate/combine map tabs. This is seriously getting ridiculous.

Or y'know, let us switch between series in said map tab. It's getting ridiculous. I'm tired of trashing out my entire tab, only to have to do it again after league end. Also, Unlocking my atlas, AGAIN, and not having unique maps which I paid in game currency for. They either need to set things up with the map tab so I can have multiple series in said tab, or just flat out offer a refund on it. It was 20 bucks. I'm to the point where I'd rather just not have it and get my 20 bucks back.

Bumping this. GGG ignored all similar posts when 3.5 came out, maybe this time it'll be different ? I had to buy a second map tab this league just to keep playing Standard, I'm hoping it won't have to be the same each league, it's starting to feel like a subscription fee.

Not using vendor recipe to have new maps instead of old ones ? No / Yes ?

I have one map stash tab, i'm keeping older maps in another normal stash tab because of me wanting to keep a track of different changes in the map shapes through the years (still have left overs from 2013 map style)

Don't see it like a problem as you will likely rebuild you map pool by either playing the new maps created fropm ols ones, or looting new ones by running old ones...

I have over 100 premium tabs and i dont mind buying more but atlas changes every league? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Legacy maps dont tick shaper / elder influence not daily objectives. So if I run them I am missing out big time.

If you release new atlas version you basically tell standard to gfy.

I recall someone at GGG saying they "Wanted to reshuffle the Atlas more often;" this was ALREADY after we've had a reshuffle every damn year from 2015 onward:

• 2015: 2.0/Awakening.
  
• 2016: 2.4/Atlas of Worlds.
  
• 2017: 3.1/War for the Atlas.
  
• 2018: 3.5/Betrayal.
  
• 2019: 3.6/Synthesis.
  
• Also 2019: 3 more?

(I'd have made that even prettier and showed off each, but map tabs are broken and I can't link my maps from them. :( )

Apparently that wasn't forcibly selling enough map tabs, so now they're going to every single league. I already voiced by concerns that this was just going to be a cash grab back in 2017, (where the reshuffle did NOT necessitate a whole new series, coming RIGHT on the heels of the introduction of a $12-15 map tab) and apparently those concerns have been realized.

By the way, if this WASN'T a cash grab, there's more than one solution to prevent it from being such. The top two to come to mind:

• Simply swap the map basetypes themselves. This is not unprecedented: they did this to create all-new maps, as our Crystal Ore maps used to be Tunnel Maps, and more recently, Fungal Hollow, Crater, Glacier, Acid Caverns, and Primordial Blocks maps USED TO be Springs, Tribunal, Gorge, Acid Lakes, and Torture Chamber maps, respectively. There's nothing stopping GGG from just doing this for ALL reshuffles.
  
  
• Simply un-check the box that restricts the Map tab from holding only one series of map. Anyone with even pretty basic (database) programming experience can inform you that this limitation is artificial; nothing (beyond some poor coding on GGG's part) is stopping them from simply letting you swap that tab whenever, so you can shift between each series of map. For the less-programming savvy, to explain: hideouts work that way now, too.

Topping this all off is the fact that map tabs have been continuously broken ever since introduction: remove-only tabs never go away, and (as I mentioned above) we can't view/link items out of them from the forums. GGG has refused to even deem these issues worthy with CLAIMING to work on a fix; they just don't feel them worth bothering with.

Oh, and also... Ever since the introduction of War for the Atlas, each map reshuffle has been borked for drop effects:

• War for the Atlas maps drop with the sound for the tiers they had in Atlas of Worlds (if they existed then) or as red-tier maps. (for entirely new maps) This is easily testable: grab any of the post-3.0 new maps (like City Square) and drop them on the ground, and notice that they sound like red maps.
  
  
• Betrayal Maps retain the full audio bug of War for the Atlas Maps (which means some maps that swapped back to the tier range in Atlas of Worlds now play the correct sound) but now for ITEM FILTERS they are broken: they all report the tier they were in Atlas of Worlds.

So we have a ton of bugs here involving maps and map tabs, and... GGG is instead worried about rushing to push us to buy another new map tab 4 times a year? Got it.

Well, GGG change the maps as you like (even if this is a blatant cashgrab), but FFS keep atlas completion bonus (especially unique maps)
