Announcing Path of Exile: Synthesis

#metoo. I feel like this game is getting less fun to play from league to league - Caster orgy again, too many ONS already in Betreyal imho. I feel very sorry about this development, as I feel my favorite game is slowly dying.
will craft mods be shared between the leagues or we have to do 3 months of mods gathering (so much for "better" way than week of ROTAS)
hope it will be WAY faster, because even with syndicates in every zone it's such a chore/grind and RNG to unlock all mods. remeber that time, when mathil encounter Aul at the end of the league despite grinding the game at daily basis for about 6 hours ? ye,GGG learn nothing from it. hiding content behind RNG IS NOT FUN.

Still waiting for the connections/positions of maps on the atlas to become dynamic, instead of changing once per league, change once per day. Get motivated to spend your t15 maps before they drift down to t14!
Why does he say at 9:50 that u need to buy the map tabs ?

i already bought map stash tab on my char in standard i am playing ? will i have to buy again after new league starts if i want to have it in the league ? or anyother way ?

Just asking cause i dont understand, cause all people i ask in chat and on forum say that everything u buy from shop on site is per account and its for all chars i have no matter what league they are in ?
Thank you!

Also...what will happen to The Memory Eater Quest and the maps related to it if the atlas resets ?

"...much easier crafting". LoL! Good one.
While I'm disappointed (but not surprised) to see you release yet another league which heavily rewards builds which mindlessly blow shit up and heavily punishes builds which play tactically, that is not my chief concern.

My chief concern is whether you are going to willfully harm Standard players yet again by rendering their map stash tabs non-functional with the new content.

The simplest solution is to make existing map tabs in Standard REMOVE-ONLY and then issue those players a fresh one. You could do even more if you wanted to make it a priority for the team, but anything less than that is decidedly unethical.

Remember when "ETHICAL MICROTRANSACTIONS" was your mantra? I do.

Yes, yes, it all looks very interesting. I have two big questions, though:

1) Will 3.6 address the game's stability issues? It really shouldn't take two or three tries to start a game of PoE. I know that you'd said, when 3.5 dropped, that the huge increase in traffic had exposed structural issues which couldn't be addressed by simply adding more servers, but that was months ago -- have those issues been addressed for the new release? Because the constant crashes are really sucking a lot of the fun out of this game.

2) With 3.6 dropping DX9 support, effectively killing the game for Linux users, have you been working to improve PoE's compatibility with tools like Wine and Proton to fill in that gap? I can understand if Linux users are too few in number to warrant a separate Linux client, but I would hope that you have given this issue some thought before eliminating the only compatibility tool that Linux PoE players had available.

Or,

2a) With the PS4 version of 3.6 also due to release alongside the PC and XBox versions, has your experience with the PS4's Orbis environment (which is basically a Linux distro) given you the confidence to just release a Linux client? You know, since you now have a Linux client anyway, and have to maintain it? Either of those options would be acceptable.

The answers may not be as critical for 3.6 (i.e. now) as they might be for 4.0 (i.e. January, when Windows 7 support ends), but as a PC player who really doesn't want to switch to Windows 10, and who won't be doing so just to play PoE, I have to wonder just how many players would appreciate having any other option. I have a feeling that the number might be a lot larger than you might think.
Living the Hollow Palm life, and loving it. Stay sane, exiles!
