Yes these threads pop up all the time. But just saying "trade is bad" doesn't do any good if you are not willing to explain or take a stand on the subject. Having a rational debate on this (or any topic) is what people do all the time. Just adding a troll response is bad.

There is nothing that you can add to this topic that wasnt said hundred of times.

Trading is incredibly convenient in this game. I don't get what the "problem" is. Have you ever traded in Diablo 2? Used d2jsp? Now that was complicated.

Here you click a button on your browser to copy a message to your clipboard. You get invited to a party and you visit their hideout and you trade and get out. I think that's easy. Nothing's broken in my opinion and therefore trading shouldn't be "fixed".

There is no problem. It's convenient, fast and easy. Trading is just the daily whine topic the forums have, and usually a "WE NEED AN AH BECAUSE SOMEONE DIDN'T REPLY TO MY WHISPER".

People seem to want a new trade system because they "just want to play the game". Well, with an easier and more efficient trade system, some of the point of playing the game would disappear, as they'd be forced to reduce drop rates to compensate for how easy and efficient it would be to acquire gear.

So yes, trading would be easier, but you would me even more forced to trade.

Drops rates are already so low, that players dont pick up items. A this point I dont give a shit about reducing drop rates further, cause zero cant get below zero anyways.

Not to mention, that isnt completely unnecessary to nerf drop rates at all.


Now, about some of my previous points - there always are players who want "more loot", "easier gameplay", "no death penalty" and everything brought to the on silver platter. Ask them, how high drop rates should be - and they'll say you should get 10 chaos, fusings, vaals and exalteds dropped from every map boss.
Should i say you, that listening to those people wont make any good for the game? Cant you realize that yourself?

They dont pick up items because no one wants to sell 1 alch items with current trade system where you need to go back to your hideout and trade with other guy. I can assure you that a lot of people would start to pick up at least one-inventory space of rares every map with "automatic trade" because they could automatically sell it for some currency. Such thing would make finding rare item worth anythning even harder, because item that is worth 20c currently would be worth 2c after making trade automatic.
Introducing new crafting already made rare items that you find worth way less in comparison to previous leagues, lets not make everything dirt-cheap.

As I see it, you are one of those "people", screaming for easier acquisition of gear. Doesn't matter if it comes from drops or trade. Acquiring gear WILL be easier with an easier trading system, and GGG have said they would be forced to compensate, directly hurting those that do NOT want acquiring gear to be easier.

Skipping trade because it isnt worth it to run in HO for mere 1c is the same to simply not picking item cause it's worth 1 alt or less anyways.
But though cheap item will geat cheaper, expensive ones wont be affected.
