Not everyone plays HC for the same reason and nobody should use hitting 100 as a statement either way both HC and SC hit 100 the same way because its dumb to do it any other way. The Anti HC wagon is just as juvenile as the no skill/Anti SC wagon, not every player uses a logout macro just like not every SC player goes for 4k hp and 6 portals every boss like come on guys have some depth to your views. |

I did it the other way around.
I played softcore with a build that I felt was strong enough to take on uber elder and after 2 rerolls I got to a point where I could farm uber elder on hc. I also enjoyed some leagues only playing ssf. I am considering playing a full league ssf hc, but not being able to make a realy good build is kind off demotivating. " Not to labour the point, but the only reason "softcore" players have ever come across as anti-hardcore players is because of the obnoxious, nasty hubris of so many hardcore players. " Yeah thats mainly true, but at some point the SC players get so touchy about it that they become the aggressors anytime someone mentions HC or SC at all. See this thread as a perfect example. Is there a single actual critism or joke about SC the whole time? Dont see one in ANY comment, but there are at least 10 from SC players who perceive a slight anytime someone mentions the game has 2 modes. |
