Let's Talk About Favor

i'm here to add my support and fully agree, I love making hideouts. The first issue that was a kick to the pants was the Alva leveling fiasco, I burned 1000s of chaos leveling her to 7. The lack of master xp bars made it infuriating as I had no idea what I was doing. All this just to gain access to decorations I previously had access to. In fact I would be willing to bet only most of my friends don't have alva at level 7 after an almost an entire league.

Much like many players I played around with the import hideout feature and brought stuff with my favor. it was only after that I released that favor generation was massively nerfed.

I was unable to even enter the ho comp as I spent my favor on a templated hideout and heavily modified it, my original hideout was not made 'recently' which was another requirement, I have been doing dalies in standard and betrayal ever since along with random master missions and have 4 million favor.

As it stands only some long term players could enter the ho comp, the current state of affairs does indeed need fixing.

I have come close to quitting over the situation as ho creation is a end game thing for me.

A suggestion for a solution to decorations and favor points, is to reward favor points from each step in the challenges of a league, like 1 million per step (lower/higher value w/e).


Or making decorations drop from a new kind of chests that can spawn from random locations, during the Main Missions and from maps. Perhaps even making map based decoration chests, so that the player can farm for a tileset, which matches the theme the player is working on getting built. You could even set this with different rarity tier, to increased the grind! You could make so many cool things with this option, even with unique map themed decoration! This would also increased the value of unique maps, because in my eyes, they are currently someewhat worthless :(


Another thought that came to mind, is making small mini games / puzzles / events that could randomly spawn during the entire game (just like league based stuff already does). these could appear like a hidden door / cave, where you must comeplete the event and collect the reward (be it favor points or random decorations). During the endgame / mapping, it could drop like the timeworn reliquary keys (but MORE FREQUENTLY please XD) where you gain access to an event where you gain decorations of different rarities and tilesets/themes

I do dailies everyday so I can buy like 1 hideout decoration

At this rate it will take years to finish hideout
