I totally agree.As a new player, it was disheartening to see that hours of grinding favor wasn't even close to the amount I needed.

I really feel for you new players or those without a substantial bank of favor or decorations. I can't imagine trying to make a hideout without even knowing what most of the decorations look like in the first place.

Great thread and I love a lot of the ideas here! Better categories/tags for searching, selling back favor, etc. I’d also chime in with the suggestion that we get special quests that give huge favor payoffs (or maybe get favor based on map mods like with sulphite).
Overall, the most important change would be to reduce the cost of decor across the board. I like the idea of having to play a while to earn decor - especially for multiple hideouts to be finished at once - but it’s simply too much right now. New players are particularly screwed. We're all in this leaky boat together, people.

Very nice thread, i don't know what they expected by destroying most means of gaining a decent amount of favor. Maybe did they think because of the unification under one standard of favor it'd need some flip sides ?
Reality is, at the moment this system is completely nuts, 71 Hrs of t16 or 33.3 Hrs of Quarry, or even 25 Hrs of scarabs to get 5 million ? While the minimum amount required now is probably around 15/20 million, it is a full time job. The previous system was working well and wasn't too long mostly because of many rotations and possibilities to get a lot more favor. My 4.5 million left from prior 3.5 evaporated very quickly and now i'm stuck to do 8k dailies ? With prices who have soared up to 150k for a tree ? It is the best way to discourage everyone to even try to make an hideout really, i can't even imagine being a beginner with no decorations at all in this context. Edit : the only thing that could have kept me playing this league was making hideouts, now i don't even log in as this system has turned absurd.
