Only as an occasional map encounter, denoted by a map mod, to know you are going to get your -10%xp, with trash mobs nerfed into the ground, along with syndicate members damage. Remove braindead mechanics from them(almos invisible exploding relic, oneshot ranged mechanics, etc. Maybe then, it will be fun. Oh, and never again design any league content that you have to do, even if you don't want to(GARBRINGERS), that is why delve, incursion, etc that didn't force you to do the encounters was a thousand times better. No one likes going into a high tier map knowing they WILL get killed if they didn't leave a research encounter in last zone. |

Even in the 3.5 teasers, they announced Jun was one of the Masters replacing the old, so yeah, most likely going core.
But, finding Jun should be as rare as finding Nico, so you should only get your 9-20 safehouse points every 40-50 maps or so. Can't wait for the Kill the Mastermind 20 time achievement times next league. |

If they put this madness into core, finding them should be as rare as finding exalts. And I'm only half-joking about that.
If they're going to make the game harder, which I'm not opposed to, they need to re-balance the whole game. Not just put in more one-shot mechanics and call it a day. That only leads to more frustration, and even more incentive for min-maxing, meta and cheese. That's not a healthy direction for the game. |

The syndicate have been nerfed to the damn ground. I'm not even playing a meta build and only struggle with them in high maps due to dangerous mods or carelessly sticking items on them when getting promoted. I think there is a serious misunderstanding of the syndicates actual danger. I rarely agree with the git gud crowd. But the syndicate doesn't need nerfing or minor nerfs at best. Plus the rewards more than make up for the danger.
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.

From a mechanical standpoint, the syndicate needs a rework. The investigation borad is great, the syndicate splattered everywhere is bad and encounters are not well balanced going from too easy to being oneshot in the same tier map with the same syndicate members.
From a crafting standpoint / access to past mechanic leagues, Betrayal is better than everything that was made in the past and should stay in the game. (Scarabs, Syndicate crafting benches and rewards for raiding safehousees) I had one occurence of twin bosses + 3 bestiary beasts + 2 rogue exile + 2 assassins in the same time.
