[3.10] 🐉 Dragon's Breath Elementalist - Incinerate

Hi there, cool build and I am going to play this first up in new league. Was wondering about the different weapons from build guild and path of building. Are the duel wands just for starting until you get the staff? Also at which point do you switch out faster casting for immolate or is that a boss swap as well?
what should we look for on staffs or wands before we can get the martyr of innocence? or the shade of solaris

After just looking at damage numbers alone on PoB, it looks like Breath of Flames AND Fire Walker yield the strongest outright DPS, but the question becomes if the cast speed and whatnot from Engimatic Reach and Firewalker yield better overall DPS instead of outright DPS numbers from Breath and Walker.

It'll be interesting to see how to push this build to it's limit for level 100.

There are some rly interesting nodes. I wont change the passive tree for more dps, but if you want to go ahead and try it. :)
lvl 100 surely gives a lot of flexibility.

Just curious since this build is your own creation, for the sake of giggles, what would YOU do with those last 6 points? No reason to not know what the builds creator would go for after all.
Mid gear for this build surpass 10ex? How expensive is it?
Infused Channelling seems to good to be passed on, the question is whether put it instead of CD or Hypothermia

Personally I will swap out CD for several reasons:

Swapping CD for infused channeling:
1. Infused Channeling grants 39% more Damage + 10% more fire damage (49% more damage) when infused. You get infused after 0.6 secs of channeling, so always up.
CD only grants 44% more damage + 10% increased
2. Crit chance range goes from 0% to 100% with 3.6 Synthesis.
This means with CD, we are at 0% crit chance and you can't procc ELE Overloard with Incinerate.
So with swapping out CD,we get to keep our base crit of 5% and with some crit chance on the tree (e.g. from Nimbleness cluster) we can proc ELE Overload with our incinerate.
Additional bonuses are of course 8% less phys and fire damage from hits.

When we swap Hypothermia for Infused Channeling, we lose Chill, which slows our enemies down.

In comparison:
Hypothermia + infused channeling (instead of CD) should have about 4% less damage than CD + infused channeling, however better defenses due to chilling enemies.

Please note proccing ELE overload with my main ability is just a personal preference, but the rest still stands

Disclaimer: I didnt look for exact numbers, just rough assumption.

Hi, I started PoE with 3.5 and want to start 3.6 with this build. Few questions:

1. 2x Shade of Solaris or Marty of Innocence are very expensive at the start, any alternatives?

2. You say the budget version is good for T1-T15 (and it requires 2x Shade of Solaris), can Shaper or Elder or T16 be also done with this gear or do I need significant upgrades?

3. What are the biggest upgrades after finishing the budget/starter gear?

4. Can you quickly go over which stats are most important (fire dmg, cast speed, spell dmg, etc) and what we should look out for on gear.

Thanks for the guide <3.

In this case (dropping CD to proc EO with main skill) - do you still use Orb of Storms as shown in this build or do you replace that with something else? Also, seems that Arcane Surge got some buffs on higher levels, would it be worth it to level it up to 20 instead of leaving it at lower level?
@myreal

I'll have to test how reliable and often Incinerate proccs EO.
For bosses I'll still rely on Orb of Storms though.

And regarding Arcane Surge:
Leveling up would only be useful if it's linked to our damage spell in my opinion. Also at level 20 you would need to spend 400 mana in a short amount of time to procc the Arcane Surge buff, which is not possible with this setup I think.

In this setup it's only there to give us the arcane surge buff, so it will most likely still only be at level 5 like in the Path of Building code.

Please note I am not the creator of this build, this are just my personal opinions, TORSTEINTHEFALLEN can probably offer a better insight.

Do you have any recommendations to increase the ms.
I'll be playing a lot with friends this league so I have to keep up with them.
