For GGGs sake and everyone else, don't open that can of worms (Switch). Yeah you might get some more players but it wont be worth it.
I have worked with getting games to different consoles and Switch is not in the same catagory as PS 4 or X-box One. It has roughly the same power as a 15 year old PS-3. PoE struggles on most PCs. Its a game that is pretty much all about insane amount of effects and monsters dying. The entire game would need a massive downgrade just to run on piss-poor FPS. Also everything GGG adds to the game would need a special solution for Switch. So fuck that and focus on things worth doing. |
