No Sound whatsoever

I dont use any digital out on my soundcard, PoE also doesnt show up in the windows audio mixer i only get no sound when when streaming though.

Windows 8
Sound card - X-Fi / SPDIF Out
No sound at all.

Windows 8 pro
Creative X-fi fatality
spdif out

For people who are still having this issue try using the analog out if possible, apparently the game doesn't like Spdif on X-fi cards!

This will eventually get fixed

Same problem, I had this in beta like 6 months ago...how was this never fixed. It's the reason I stopped playing then.

I have the same exact card and using spdif out. I was running win7 then, and now win8. I built an entirely new pc, but kept the same audio card...so I've pretty much ruled out everything.

Please fix this, it's no fun playing a game with no sound.

Wow, this is still not fixed? So even after I fixed the BSOD sound issue, it comes back to this one. Well, at least now I remember why I stopped playing months ago. Such a shame.

if you right click the POE desktop icon and go into the area that says target and add the line of text --softwareaudio after the exe it may help fix your sound issues I did this and it resolved my problem as suggested on another forum.....

Just patched and my sound went poof.
