I turn them off when I want to progress levels which is often.

This is the first league where doing story content of a league is more rewarding than map content of a league.

All the rewards that are profitable you can do in Ossuary. Just make a loop around entrace square you find them every 30-50 seconds. No one shots profit. If thats your thing... I have no one to profit from (SSF) so I ignore them for most part unless they jump out at me mapping. I don't care for mechanic. Slows me down and doesnt fit in game.

Nah, they go down fairly easy now.

I don't think this needed a new thread; everyone else pretty much said everything there is to it when it comes to Syndicate.

The balancing in this game is nonexistent, or done only around the top 1% uber meta builds, cause GGG has a hard-on for those. Personally, I've only locked the Syndicate at lvl 89, 'cause I wanted to hit 90. Now that I'm 90, I don't give a fuck, that's my max lvl anyway. The whole mechanic is way too fun not to do, it's just sad that the damage is off.

Yea I am currently doing red maps and locking the syndicate away because I want to farm my gear and level up in peace. Maybe when I get my six link I'll try them again, haha.

Same here. I kinda want the challenges but meh, I'll get every other doable challenge first before I take the syndicate out of its research lab banishment.

I'm sick of doing maps that I can do with minimal challenge only to have my progress turned negative by the garbage Syndicate.


I'm trying out the ignore research trick to see if it works at blocking syndicate annoyances.

GGG really missed with the fight system this league, only thing worth in the syndicate are scarabs, so you have 95% of the ppl doing everything but trying to kill the end boss of the league, so ironic hahaha. I like your replies guys. We all seem to agree that this league makes people want to do the things they can do in standard. I for instance am level 93, with my trapper I killed uber atziri at lvl 85. Speaking of being 1 shot generally it is ok as long there is an actual mechanic that you can avoid, for example you can easily dodge double flameblast from atziri, or slam from shaper or elder, but what these syndicate garbage is doing is ridiculous. Not even to mention the mobs that spawn when you are fighting fortification. Grinding Osuary does not seem much fun to be honest, Id rather do the mine and buy the scarabs for more delving. As far as I am concerned, all I do this "league" is delving and running uber elder and atziri, other things are kinda boring not not that rewarding. I really do not want to kill Catarina in lvl 83 area, cause if I eventually do it and the drops are shit as it probably will be, cause here everything in PoE is RNG of RNG, so do the odds. I honestly thought that this league would keep me for more than 1 month, but guess I was wrong, all in all, GGG does not need us to stay for more than 1 month, anyway, they sell all MTX and packs during first month, so for the proper balance of syndicate we will have to wait for next league or so, if it even goes core

TBH everything is good about this league with exception of the syndicate, tired of getting ganked by them to be frank so just avoid, fighting a boss blam there they are, doing a corrupted map, blam In the most stooped place. probably cost me about 4 levels worth of xp (currently 88)


In terms of boss safehouse, yeah screw that, after losing 30% experience of one level just abandoned it

All "Leet" players that love it good for them. Me for one I think I will give a couple more weeks then wait it out to the next season. I LOVED delve, I like the that we can do incursions, I like the new crafting system. BUT I cannot begin to say how much I hate the syndicate content as things stand right now.
