Anyone can suggest best gem setup for Uber elder consistently?
I am running HoI, Enfeeble with VRF for less active skills but not sure it provides enough.
Not really can afford a Watcher for Discipline yet

I wouldn't change much from the main post. Maybe add phase run to the helmet (to use when you are slowed in combination with quicksilver).

Also check pantheon section for the ideal pantheon against uber elder.

Kaom's roots is also another great option but you will have to balance resists elsewhere - kinda annoying to do.

just bought the new watcher eye for discipline, spent 2ex and cannot get the 4 blue in helmet for VRF and discipline :D

Guess I will just settle with decoy totem and discipline in the helm.
WDYT on VRF on unbound ailment? is it suitable for uber elder

You could swap setups of shield and helmet, should make it quite easier for you!

Really enjoying the build , have a couple questions
Did I read correctly that the level gem for Discipline has to be level 1, if so why?

This is a bit off topic but you may know, how much is too much resistances while using loreweave, I have 100+ on all resistances at the momement , but I do not know if that is over kill.

Also the items on this thread have steadly gone up in price to the point that I cant catch up anymore with the new changes LOL

Discipline should be max level, no reason to have it lower.

Usually it's good to have +34% resist overcapped for maps with elemental weakness curse mod. Since however we run flask with curse immunity, and also a wise oak which increases resistances while up, having 80% resists should be perfectly fine.

And yes, sadly it's getting more expensive :P I guess next time I update things I should be buying the items myself before hand, lol.

Holy Molly I do a LOT of damage :O

Main Ice Nova: Ice Nova Damage (441,404) x 2 (Frostbolt interaction) x 7.4 (Hits per sec) x 0.9975 (Crit Chance) = 6,516,447 DPS
Cospri Ice Nova: [ Ice Nova Damage (178,012) x 2 (Frostbolt interaction) x 7.4 x 0.9975 ] / 2 (Cospri procs alternate between Frostbolt and Ice Nova) = 1,314,002 DPS
Cospri Frostbolt: [ Frostbolt Damage (131,724) x 7.4 x 0.9975 ] / 2 = 486,161 DPS
Cyclone: 14,745.6 x 7.4 = 109,117 DPS
Vortex = 32,075 DPS

Combined: 6,516,447 + 1,314,002 + 184,456 + 109,117 + 32,075 = 8,156,097 DPS

Including Culling Strike: 4,285,676 x 1.11 = 9,053,267 DPS

Including Vaal RF: 9,053,267 x 1.4 = 12,674,573 DPS

Without Vaal RF and Without Including shock from rare ring: 9,053,267 x 0.8 = 7,242,613 DPS

And that with 6,426 Life + 1,535 Energy Shield = 7,961 eHP

Edit:
Since I'm running a Watcher's Eye 23 Life on Hit and 30 ES on Hit and Vitality + Discipline + Herald of Ice and Aspect of Spider.

According to the maths above, I hit at least (7.54*3) times, perhaps more depending on procs.

30+23*22.62 = 1198 Instant eHP per seconds.
Without including the Vaal Pact I get from Atziri's Acuity and the fact that I run Warlord's Mark on my Ring.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get those numbers? I loaded your character into PoB to see if I was missing anything in my own character and I could only get your main Ice Nova to around 280K - 300K. What did I miss?

Other than that, Vitality + Discipline LGoH/ESGoH must be so satisfying to play with. I'm really missing the Vitality Watchers Eye right now. Life Leech alone doesn't seem to be enough some times.

Ok so after reading 100 pages and asking my questions, I started this build with great hopes.

Here is the gear: (Imo the best it can get before going Unnatural path)

Now that I am level 90. Here is my feedback;

1) The build, in my personal opinion, is not worth the investment. I feel like if I invested the currency into a Winter Orb or some other fotm, I would "feel" more overpowered.

2) Cyclone is a personal-taste kind of thing. I don't really like the animation-lock that sometimes happen and the skill feels really clunky because of that.

3) Being a melee ability = not being overpowered in parties where things die before you reach them.

4) The 1 shot mechanic with vaalRF is too gimmicky for my taste. True that sometimes it is fun to destroy a guardian in under 5 seconds but other times because the build isn't REALLY tanky ( doesn't have acro ) you can get 1 shot out of no where.

tldr; Great build but other builds at this level of investment perform from distance & are safer & deal similar damage & less clunky.

p.s if there is anything wrong with my build ( make sure to keep in mind I run 8% as + coordination ) please point it out to me. Thanks a lot.

Ye I was the one who said that :D and it's the reason why I'm not using movement skills often and why I try to have as much MS as possible.

That's some pretty high damage, mind sharing PoB? I'd like to see how and what you sacrifice for that. Could be a PM if you don't want to :P

Hahaha of course it was you, should have been obvious.

I'm at work at the moment, but I'll upload it when I get home. Honestly, in comparison to your build I sacrifice around 1.5K eHP (sit at around 7.5K), and with my latest little trick to greed as much DPS as possible I've sacrificed around 4-5% crit chance on my cyclone (still at around 92%, but not ideal, and at this point only a lucky corruption on my gloves will fix that).

I've been theory crafting my build for weeks and I remember trying to hit the 200K average damage mark on Ice Nova, now I'm trying to squeeze out ways to hit 500K (doable if I somehow managed to get a hold of 4 perfect jewels). Fine tuning goes a long way.

I just love how much crit multi you have - brilliant, man.:)
