Hey!

I get the question. But it's really hard to implement a feature like that. In theory it would be possible to calculate how close some important items in a hideout are together (Bank, Portal, NPCS). But I don't think it will be a 100% accurate way to implement this.

Another option is to add a system to add certain tags to a hideout. But I'll look into it. I was already thinking about adding a tag system.

I don't expect your otherwise awesome site, to automatically index the .hideout files and calculate distances between 'interactables' etc.. although however amazing that would be, I think it would be out of scope for such a site :)

But maybe add, as you say, a predefined 'Tag' (or 'Tags'), that the uploader can add to their hideouts.

This could be color scheme (taking a cue from the previous poster), big or small map device, theme, efficiency etc.

And if you really wanted to go the extra mile.. let users vote (1-5 stars?) on how correct those 'Tags' are..

Let's say HideoutUploader85 has added a tag for "Efficient" because he believes it is, but the users only give it 2 stars.. then it's easier to find as a GenericDownloaderExtraodinaire :)

Just a few things to think about. I really like how far the site has already come, I just think it can be even better... but in the end it all depends on you.

I will add.. maybe a tag for portal colors which hideout fits best. Ofc no need ot overwork, website is already as good as it gets.

Please add Cavas to the list of Masters, and remove him from being a MTX.
Did you stop developing and improving on the site?
What does it mean when it says "buy from undefined" in the decoration needed tab? I can't figure out where I need to go to buy those items

Hi there,

It'd be nice to be able to delete/modify the versions that were published : sometimes a very minor thing has been changed in the hideout and you don't want to make a new version just for that.

Another thing that would be good is to get the possibility to delete a hideout instead of just making it private.

EDIT : As there is no visual loading animation when you upload a hideout and you have to wait some time, some people do the mistake to upload it several times (that's what i did). And now the favour counter displays 2 times the initial favour required (26m instead of 13m).

EDIT#2 : Try to go to my profile (https://hideoutshowcase.com/viewprofile/Synopsis) then click on "uploaded hideouts", you'll either get a crash or you'll see the "good hideout" that i want to share and the other one i've set to private but is still visible. Ideally i'd like to delete it.

Other than that it's a great website, thanks a lot for it !

I've been away for a while but back now to continue improving the site. Thank you for the feedback. I'll look at your feedback to improve. Thank you :)

I've been thinking about adding a rating system and tags. I'll see what I can do :)

I did this on my development server. This will be added to the site today!

I have not but I've just been really busy. Don't worry! This project won't be abandoned for a long time!

Can you please tell me where you see "Buy from undefined"? I'll fix it but I can't seem to find it.
