incursions are stupid

I actually enjoy incursions, however, I think it is a waste and totally STUPID that it only caters to certain builds. Timers are ridiculous and not balanced... Why in the hell would you design a cool in-game feature only to limit the enjoyment with one or two of your characters??

That's just wrong.
You don't need a "certain build", you just need your build to not suck.
If you have neither fast movement nor AoE coverage nor high damage, you failed.

After the early act where we all struggle, any archetype can amass enough damage and AoE clear to fulfill the missions, given the player knows what he is doing.

what is the point of the time limit? any logic behind that?

Tension? Pressure?

Is this really a difficult concept to understand?

This in't the first game ever that uses time limits to make content more difficult, but also offer you a rewarding feeling when you manage to beat the task in time.

Too many people expressing the same concern for me to take your feedback seriously. I just don’t see the point of making it so “speedy”, not every damn player likes to RUSH their gameplay.

It is just weird that I can be on a character thst can easily handle maps thru tier 9 so far, yet no way to complete an incursion entry. Incursions and the timer portion makes no sense compared to the rest of the game at this point.. I almost think they need to be available after later map completions if timers don’t get bumped slightly.

You have armageddon brand, 30% movespeed boots and phase run, and cannot clear an incursion? We must be playing a different game.

no no I mean as you say any build that not suck can do that content in time, then what is the point of time limit again?

what is the point of making something look like a challenge but its actually not?

thinking about zana mission that have time limit and you has to kill monsters to increased time limit, there is anyone in this world fail that mission? and why the f there is time limit. Tension? Pressure?

To defend clear speed meta, obviously. lol.
I think this can be changed very easily if keys dropped from architects instead of at random.
ALL THAT TIMERSHIT CAN GO DOWN THE DRAIN.

BUT THE DAMAGE IS DONE

ALL THAT BLAH IN THE FORUM LEADS TO NOTHING

Da lohnt es sich einfach nicht noch irgendwas zu sagen.

Auf Deutsch gesagt: *Rülps*

Anyway.......

Happy Christmas to All out there !

Build better, plan better, act faster... or don't, it's up to you. You can on rare occasion get screwed by incursions even with a decent build (generally from a combination of a lousy layout and a lack of magic monsters to boost the timer), but in the vast majority of cases a decent build should be able to clear the things without issue. If your build can't clear them reliably, you can either work to improve it so that it can, or try to mitigate the issue by planning your route better so you don't have to run through an empty map to use a key if you find it. It's not the end of the world if you don't get the best result every time and it's not the end of the world if you don't connect every room in the temple, so you can either fix your build and approach to try and achieve better results, or you can just accept what comes and still get rewarded with a lootsplosion from what you can manage to kill + whatever temple you end up with--either is fine as it's just one small piece of content in the game.
