MoC was a true test of you build back when it existed. I'll never forget the first time I ran into some serious difficulty...

i think have the both is a good idea, but in that case, the endless dungeon should have a lower drop and a less xp, simply because the maps have a value (and i like it) and change it would drop all the maps market and all

Yeah, it was pretty great. I'd like it so everything in MoC would be seriously difficult (Hell, i remember one time in MoC i desynched and my immortal call ran out on my client slightly before it did on the server and i got DESTROYED by level 60 chaos cannibals in 2 seconds)

this map right here was THE reason i made 15-20 lvl 60+ alts during the time it was live/active.

id also like to point out this map also made it to where you couldnt run just 1 elemental type. you were forced to run 2 back then, it was a lot of fun to utilize a micro casting/ switch hitting build. the map called for a more dynamic build vrs a 1 note pony. sadly we have strayed from this play style as a community due to lazy setups (totems) and more group oriented play.


i could easily see me playing 1-2 hours more a night simply due to this map and its addictive nature.... was so addictive the removal of this map caused me to leave for 2 months.

just multi casting/original bloodrage/shocknova/coldsnap thats really the only revivals i am seeking from closed
the reworks did them no justice, if anything thats how ggg should bring broken back.
this map should have never been removed from the start.

Regarding OP, I really don't see why we couldn't have both. But ill throw out there what if maelstrom of chaos was a default vender bought map for those who didn't find any. Make it a "mirrored blue map" (so it cant get scoured and re-rolled) and guaranteed to have "worse mods" than the other maps. Just gives more options and uses the old system.

Ive never played MoC so i guess i don't know much about it but as any area could be a map it makes sense to just incorporate both systems.
