Hi there, let me begin by saying i have 0 knowledge about pc's and all this kind of stuff but after 3 days of crashes and more crashes i finally found the solution; it's very simple, few steps and 100% works:

Control panel
System
Advanced system settings(left side of the window)
Advanced tab
under Performance click Settings
Advanced tab
under Virtual memory click change
Tick the Autmoatically manage paging file size for all drivers
Click ok and then restart.

I hope i helped, i literally crashed every 5 minutes of gameplay, did that and boom, everything works wonders now. Have a good day!

Automatically managing the pagefile is the default setting for most installs, as far as I am aware. Mine was already set that way, and I haven't adjusted it manually since Windows 10. But it's worth trying anything at this point!

I'm having same problem here. Crush ocures every 5-10 minutes making game imposible to play.

It poped in delve, hideout, Temple of Atzoatl, multiple different maps.

So far i tried to manage pagefile size, downgrading drivers down to 385.69, validating files via steam, switching back and forth between dx9-dx11. Nothing realy made any notable positive changes.

I posted about this (It's very hard for me to find past messages, so sorry for the double post) but I have the same error. It's pretty frustrating, especially since it seems to keep you in the game for a bit. I've come back dead several times from this.
Hi there,

I had the same problem after playing again on my old gaming laptop.
I've a nvidia 880m 8gb and the same crash as soon as I load an entity.
it appears that the recent nvidia drivers are naturally overclocking the graphic card causing the problem.

Using Nvidia inspector to down clock the card to it's original frequency solved the problem.
try https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvidia-profile-inspector-download.html
And under overclocking set the level 3 back or under it's factory frequency.
Mine as a factory of 954 and I'm running 953 and dx11 like a charm now.
