Did you forget Cold Snap? In patchnotes it said that its damage was increased, but it is not in the post.

Some of those gems finally can do use from a double implict mod : projectile -duration,duration - aoe,aoe - projectile what means there is possible to get +4 levels from them by corrupted chest...

Shouldnt the max stages of the banners be on the gem?

Looks like Winter Orb goes really well for BV in a curse on hit setup. Grab both duration nodes for +90% duration. At full duration it lasts 8 seconds in a 3-link, roughly matching the effective use of BV.

It also goes nicely with Phase Run with the movement skill nerf.

Charge initially -> Phase Run through pack -> Top off charges as Winter Orb and/or BV leeches -> Phase Run and repeat

For bosses, just do the normal BV thing of teleport and delete.

Uhm ... so ... lancing steel has neither a melee NOR an aoe tag? Are you fcking serious??? If 10+ projectiles flying around is not an indicator for an aoe skill to you, then what is it please???
