Same, that kind of mechanics and all broken gear/mechanics introduced into the game for 2 years just give the following result for me: I play less and less every league - 1 month and an half, 2 months max.
The only question is to find a viable and different build every time without playing every time all broken skills or gear (molten strike / headhunter / poet's pen as examples).
I did not finished the 36 challenges for the first time last league (playing for 6 years) and still not sure to do anything interesting in the next one.
So yeah, I am worrying about last weeks weather, and also worrying about some new game to replace path of exile, but POE's future, I don't care

Really though, I hope the focus system adds some much needed input variety.

I grudgingly agree with all this. I typically have whatever sports happens to be on in the background with one headphone in.

Edit - and I played a BV Tri-herald elementalist to 94 this league and I have to say it got to be pretty tiresome - and I even left spell echo in there, sacrificing dps for convenience, and it still got be a real chore. So automate away!
