New Player? - Here's why I prefer Arc Traps (Saboteur) Over Arc Witch

Love the game,must have spent well over 2,000$ in the last 1.5 years I've been playing this game,and I gotta say , this kind of behaviour from the forum mods makes me reconsider posting in these forums or continuing to support this game all together.

give or take.. you know roughly,between the double supporter pack I always buy and the mistery boxes,and some other random skins that come out here and there,sure,easy,and I'm happy to do it because I mean,these guys are amazing with the content they pour into the game every three months,it is really unprecedented. Well, we all appreciate your support for the game, that's nice of you. I though I was being nice when I finally spent six dollars and bought a couple tabs that I didn't really need.

Hey this got toxic and I hope you guys sort it out.
All I can say is Enki's arc witch is insane!
I have had ZERO issues with it, and my deaths are laziness or unfamiliar with boss.

I do want to try arc trapper though, so maybe I'll respec next month and check it out.

So thanks to both of you, this thread is like everything I am interested in right now!

I think the witch will be hard to beat, I don't even have my Inpulsa's yet and I feel VERY godlike.

I started with a trapper and screwed it up soooo bad... maybe your guide will redeem him ;)

I could think of a half dozen better titles to convey the point you wanted to make.

Arc for new player - Witch (Ele) vs. Shadow (Sabo)

you go with telling new players what specifically NOT to play and then expect no reaction?

Now, I will agree that Sabo has a very good defensive Ascendency and fairly noob friendly point allocation on the tree - which is why it continues to be so popular. However, it is very clear you might be out of your depth when someone like Enki challenges certain points and rather than address those very valid points - like the defensive layer analysis, you prefer to resort to - leave my thread... Just saying.

There are literally dozens of Arc trapper build guides and if you think you really have something to add you should make a proper one instead of - whatever this thread is supposed to be.

Lastly, most people are here to help and if someone picked Arc witch and was struggling with survivability, generally all they have to do is go to the build guide forum and say "Hey, I'm struggling with survivability - could you take a peak and help me out?" and help will be given - specifically tailored to whatever is going on with that persons build.

I literally have no idea why you thought a sabo build guide would fly in the witch subforum. It's for discussing witch builds, not advertising non-witch builds to prospective witch players.

I take your critics and I admit I agree with you man,this is why I changed both the title and OP,to better reflect my intentions - helping out new players.

Listen,I've been around for a while,and helped out many many thousands of people through my videos and guides and streaming for 6 years both in PoE and Diablo 3.
I started out many years ago helping out in the Diablo 3 forums even before I started streaming,and honestly the reason that drove me to make this video was because I saw great resemblance between the new players coming into my stream after trying out and failing with arc witch for the first time.

I never even browsed the witch's forums before I made my post.

I have had great experience with traps and I know if someone follows my guides\come to my stream and ask questions \ check out my profile in comparison they will have the same success with traps as I have. I also have players telling me after trying out the trapper that they prefer it(as I obviously do) to traps.

I am not here to pick a fight with anyone and regarding enki he came off very aggressively towards me making following him on twitch appear as a bad thing,so why would I engage with such an entitled person - sidebar - I very often follow people I see streaming,and I also very often unfollow people when I see I don't like their style -End sidebar - ,so I follow a dude once I saw he has a massive thread on the forums(which was btw AFTER i wrote my own post),great,I bet he helped out a lot of players do,and if there's one thing we can agree on it is that helping out people FeelsGoodMan

In the end,what we're doing here,all this back and forth is exactly the reason I stopped visiting the Diablo 3 forums many years ago,it serves no purpose and deflect attention from the issue I wanted to talk about originally - and it is the reason that I will most likely going to be reluctant to post in these forums as well.

I'm happy you enjoy your arc witch man,as long as you're having fun thats the important part!
