RNG my @SS

Have you looked at the odds? it's like 1-2% u get prefix ur after. Its not "bad RNG" it's low AF chance.

BIG DIFFERENCE!

After you spent a couple hundred ex and nothing then it's bad RNG

What do you think ppl put up with the trade game for?

a hearty lol
Guy want to metacraft ring. After spending 15 EX he is bitching about bad RNG. Come back when you spend 150 EX and hit nothing.
there are 13 tiers of mana with a 1.61% chance to roll each one (apparently) so you have a 21%~ chance to roll mana.

Unlikely? Sure but hardly impossible.

Infact having looked at the other possibilities Mana is actually the most likely outcome followed by ES, so if anything your findings match up exactly with what is expected.

I guess you're not aware OP, ya,it's not true RNG in this game. GGG thinks it's fun times to weight particular affixes to be unlikely to roll and make a plathora of shit affixes highly likely.

basing off rng with a sample size of 15. yeeeeah that's not gonna work well for ye :P

starting to think this shit is fucking rigged

It is... If it wasn't everyone would be crafting 'mirror tier' gear.

No-one reaches a point of meta crafting without knowing it is weighted... C'mon.

Easy. A person flips a coin 19 times. Each flip results in heads. What's the chance of flip #20 resulting in heads?

A: 50%. The result of the previous 19 flips in no way affect the result of the 20th flip. Just like your previous nine crafting attempts in no way affect the mod you're getting on your tenth crafting attempt.

Yes that's true and chance has no memory prior to previous events.

BUT:
Take note, 20 consecutive coin flips have 1,048,576 possible outcomes.
Only 1 of those will result in 20 consecutive Heads.
And 1 of them will yield 20 consecutive tails.

Chance is determining single, individual events.
Probability is used to gather individual events in a chain.

So flipping 20 coins and hoping for 20tails in a row has a 1/524,288 'chance'.

------------

To OP:
Game is RNG based but weighed RNG

Assume 4 rolls: T1 T2 T3 T4
25% chance each, right?

NO,

Because a roll could be set to any RNG number range, simply said
Random number rolls:
1-5: T1
6-20: T2
21-50: T3
51-100: T4

So a T1 roll has only 5% chance of appearing.
Same goes for mana/es situation you described.

Assume my number 5% is close to reality,
After 10 scourings, a 5% chance will become a 40,126% probability to roll a T1 if looked as a chain of 10 events but will remain a 5% individual chance, regardless the prior outcome.

Pretty cool huh :)
