Things people loathe about PoE
My biggest problem with the game is the loot. There's just so much crap, at all rarities, that it isn't worth picking up. Even Uniques are mostly worthless.

Destroying builds to force people to play new skills. How about making new intersting skills that people want to try, and not being forced by destroying good builds. Why not make as many builds as possible viable instead of destroying them.
Nerfing different play styles, only to be enabled by items after some time. For example vaal skills, nerfed so you can't spam them 24/7. I am talking about vaal fireball and builds like that. Then flask gets introduced so you can use them way more often, what happened to that vaal skills should be one time use super skill when needed most. Another one is Cast on Critical support gem, so COC has 500 ms cooldown while Cospri's Malice has 250 ms cooldown. So if you want to have viable coc build you have to use Malice, even then its not that strong. If you could prolif big ignites it would make COC useable gem, but that was nerfed too. Double dipping removed, then making new skills to make poison viable. Scourge arrow has 750% more damage with hits and ailments at full charges. Irony is that strongest version of that skill is stacking full elemental dmage with abyss jewels. I guess its balance team and their reason that I don't like. Everything else is pretty much okay. |

One thing i hate most is lag. POE is probably one of the worst online only games that has very bad optimization for online gaming.

The constant crying every league about the same non issues, the self entitled demands they make like their mom owns GGG (nwesflash she only wons the basement you live in) and worse of all the disrespect they show for the work GGG puts into this game since 2013. It's messed up because it's the only thing that GGG can't ever patch out. "Never argue with an idiot. They will take you down to their level and beat you trough experience."

Not in any order but these things i don't like .
1 .Labyrinth .Too many damn helmet enchantments ,it's beyond ridiculous really .I just not gonna do it ,way too much rng for me .This is my nr.1 thing i hate about the lab .Another thing in the lab is that we have to do it so damn much .Traps do a bit too much damage too and some builds have a hard time there which in a way kills build diversity overall .Lab could have been a own game with full development and it would have been great for those that like it ,but its just mixed into this arpg ,not particular fan of that .Labyrinth could have been gggs second game ( the lab is not bad but good ) ,oh well it's not . 2 .Screen full of effects and it's very messy .It's why i only play solo . 3 .Xp penalty is simply too much at level 95-ish + .This week 2 times i died at level 98 = a long break and another game ,was deathless maybe 3-4 months or more before that ,screen with too much going on and my mouse cursor isn't exactly very visible .I guess i have to continue only play the boring content in the game = bad design imho ,because the game drives me away from actually fully enjoy all the content and is again because of the xp penalty .I never build glasscannons but more balanced and go for more tank than damage always but the defence in the game is not specially good ( armour for example ) .Many suggests a combat log ,died of x source and damage received .Yes becuase then we learn more ,but those dps numbers the monsters sometimes get is perhaps very very secret ( lol ) . Suggestion : recollect the xp at the dead body as in some of the simular other games ( demons souls f ex ) ,this could actually be done in a cool way ,where your body is ,it is a exile as a copy of you as a ghost version of you ,something like that .Still gambling ,do you dare face yourself and gamble 10 % more xp ,kill the exile and get it back .Mouse cursor needs to be way more noticable ,this game gets chaotic pretty fast and imo this is a no-brainer and usually what kills me ,this is very annoying because if i had seen the cursor i probably would have survied a lot more in the game .Sometimes it's the camera angles that kills me too ( indirectly ).So 2 things which is pretty bad developed .The mouse cursor thing should be a easy fix ( I assume ) maybe not a big deal for the youngsters but for me it's a big deal .Leap slam : sometimes the character is in an animation and leap slam don't interrupt the animation ,this is another thing which i would like to see a fix on ,movement skills should imo be a tactical thing in this game to get away from danger in an instant .So it's a matter of reaction time and skills ,not dependent on a damn animation from something else .I checked the profiles of some of the devs before they turned it private ,lol in cruel as highest characters ( its awhile ago now ) ,do they even know how it feels when we die at level 97-99 range , i think not ,and specially when its a lag or something very annoying we die of .The game is a online only game too and we have a xp penalty .In general if they cant fix stuff ,then remove it but rather just lower the penalty to 5 % after level 94-95 ish . 4 . Camera control ,it's just bad ,i want to zoom out more( off screen killing both ways is stupid ,litterally ) and rotate it sometimes at clunky places . 5 . Too much reused map layouts , over time i hope maps will be more unique and not just copy paste . Do one each month or so , slow and steady it will be perfect . 6 . Artwork ,it's very nice ,but it's too much lookalike the Roman empire , something i really don't like ( even more illuminati feel to the game among other things ) . 7 . Trading . With so many leagues , labyrinth etc it's really time for a type of auction house atleast for standard league .GGG don't have to copy d3 or wow or any other games ,but to meet another player to trade is not good .Offline tradeing i see the problem because of flippers and market manipulators but it has to be a middle thing ,what it's like now is garbage .D3 ah had its problems but mostly because of real money ah, but this is worse . 8 . Crafting , I just don't like it ,too much rng .How it should have been done i don't really know or have thought about and balance is a thing but it's kinda like Heartstone totally random ,mtg less rng and 10 times better game and maybe this philosophy can make Poe grow more and become better/fun for non flippers in the game too .I have watched Demigods crafting videoes and he is amazing at crafting no doubt ,but here's the thing he flips currency too so he can actually do it .So he has to not play the game to actually play the game at the highest level ( it was exactly like this in d3 too which i hated ) . 9 . MTX ,these prices is the most ridiculous thing in the game probably .Some of it even as much as a whole game and even more . wtf .If playerbase is growing maybe time to look at this ,maybe more money can be earned if the prices is reduced so many buys instead of a few .For example a full mtx clothing/armour i will not buy unless 5-20 points max and even then just maybe ,Poe is not in an infant place anymore so for me it just smells greed long way .No thanks .And all the ads in the game ,no thanks i dont want it , it is overpriced in the most extreme way i have seen in any game i have played . 10 . Gamespeed .I think the 1 shot or be 1 shotted is very stupid imho .Most items are trash and we are back at d3 with only picking up gold .We pick up currency orbs ,its the exact same thing .Better loot = slowing down atleast a little bit .Also rather increase monster health than dps when balancing and adjust player dps/ehp and xp to that change = a little slowing down .Increase the xp in red maps to make them more special .Increase xp in general to compensate for the slowing down .The games speed makes the game kinda braindead imo .The balance team in poe has made the game zoom zoom zoom ,and its really not that great of a job .Its the weak link in poe development .Otherwise very very good stuff and very good devs . ( be careful with powercreep ggg ,d3 got destroyed by it ,it kills build diversity and its just stupid and not creative ) . 11 . Alot of points post creator made i do agree with ,it's a lot of small annoying things .Honestly i would have prefered that ggg took a little break adding new stuff and instead perfect old stuff before adding new stuff at this point in the game .The game has so much stuff now anyway and the game needs a little healing ,it's not a big deal .Most devs don't give a shit about their players but ggg is different ,its ok really . |

Dunno who even gets their own helmet ench from ulab tbh. *I agree with the xp penalty. I loathe regression mechanics. *Roman Empire aesthetic is illuminati? That was started in the 18th century, so nah classical aesthetic looks beautiful, besides there's lots of other influences in PoE too. *You won't buy a full suit of Mtx unless it's 5-20 points? Option to turn off / tone down skill GFX in parties or playing solo. Like with Molten Strike hard to see Fire Bearers etc. With consecrated path cant see anything at all on the ground (bearers)
also turning of GFX would allow people with older computers to play in groups. Also can we turn off Hideout GFX? When playing on older laptops many times would dc upon trying to enter a well-designed hideout, like to trade |

Abysmal presentation of plot. Good luck reading lore on the map, when offscreen mobs are coming to you. Game pacing doesn't allow you to enjoy it. I play since beta and don't know the main story until now. It's just too annoying to get into (+very hard English words here and there).
