I hate mapping in Delve, I just want to...

The point still stands: maps in Delve have no league content at all.
Literally it is Standard.
Maps have Niko. That's league content.

I wish that clicking him was more engaging. Maybe fight of a hoard of monsters. Maybe evade some projectiles. Dunno. Something other than click-reward.
I'm in agreement with Sun on this... such an odd feeling.

Yeah, delves can be incredibly rewarding. When you either get to the city, finally find Aul or just abuse mechanics and farm same depths over and over.



Well i actually meant the whole atlas endgame, it's really no different.

So in core they're going to have 1-2 node(s) every, eh, 6-12 maps like the rest of the other league mechanics or...?

...because if people want to coddle the Sulphate Currency to enter now, they're going to love having to explain how awesome it is to delve once every blue-moon if it is.

Even capable character requires heavy respec and changing entire gear set. Even without MF I woul still use QoTF Evasion stacking for mapping and Kaom's Heart for Delving.

Delve made me realise just how boring mapping is, but at the same time it pushes even worse version of mapping down my throat. I just want to Delve more man T_T

Sulphite can be improved in so many ways from becoming shared between characters to making new upgrades (like sulphite efficiency or gain), from increasing chance for extra pile to fixing insane RNG behind sulphite ammount roll ( you can get from T16 as much as from maps many tiers below with same Quantity. I wish GGG would get to it :(


League is gated behind boring mapping? Man every league is "gated behind boring mapping". You can't do incursions if you don't map, you can't do abysses if you don't map and you can't do breaches if you don't map. Maps are the core endgame of PoE man... like is this new to you or what lol? They do kinda feel like a chore when the league mechanic is so far removed from them though.

No, all previous Leagues were seamlessly blend in maps. They were not gated behind maps like Delve, they were part of maps that made them awesome.

Well, it's 1.5 months until League ends. *shrugs*

But I feel like Delve will be more rewarding once it goes core. I mean actual delving, not endless darkness farming.

Why do you think maps need content increases all the time in every league? Maybe some leagues are not about adding content to maps. Also what's wrong with standard? It's the exact same game and so many leagues have been added to the core game that maps are full of action these days... i mean how much more shit do you want in maps really? You have breaches, abysses, strongboxes, essences, masters, ulab trials, tormented spirits, rogue exiles, soon to be incursions etc in maps... like chill.

@Sunl4d2 - Being "seamless" in maps has nothing to do with what you said. You said that league content is gated behind maps. It's ALWAYS been "gated behind maps". You can't access league content without maps lol. This is pointless semantics man, you know what you said and you know what i mean.

I've offered my opinion in several threads. I just don't feel that being annoying or obnoxiously vocal gets anything changed since I think it detracts from one's position.

I didn't realize how bored I had become of mapping until delve. The leagues previously (as you basically have said) augmented the mapping experience, typically in a loot explosion type fashion.

Now that that experience can be had completely outside of a map, I can't help but associate mapping as a chore to facilitate the delve. Mapping in either delve or even standard feels really empty, and I feel I've been conditioned to require loot explosions because when things do drop its got a very high chance of being worthless.
