I hate mapping in Delve, I just want to...

I love Delve and delving, but man normal mapping is beyond annoying and feels like a choir. In comparision to previous Leagues, Icnrusion had Incursion in each map, Breach had Breach in each map, Abyss had Abyss in each map. Having you know actual League inside each map kept things interesting and fresh while Delve got well...nothing. Just clickable piles of despeciable resource.

Ok League is gated behind boring mapping, but you gotta have to do a lot of it to spend abysmal ammount of time in the mine (I can only imagine how bad it is at 1000+) and on top of that you can't even map on character that makes mapping a breeze. Sulphite is for some reason not shared between characters makes mapping in this League even worse than in Stnadard, because delving and mapping require different approach - excellent mapper won't be excellent delver and excellent delver won't be excellent diver. So basically it's a choice between meh build that can do both "ok" and build that sucks at mapping. You are forced into mapping on sub-optimal build you would not map otherwise. Developers decided for you how to play.

I play as Ele Hit Scion and even then mapping doesn't need all these life nodes, blood magic and whatnot. I would like to spec for Inspired Learning and MF. Even capable character requires heavy respec and changing entire gear set. Even without MF I woul still use QoTF Evasion stacking for mapping and Kaom's Heart for Delving.

Delve made me realise just how boring mapping is, but at the same time it pushes even worse version of mapping down my throat. I just want to Delve more man T_T

Sulphite can be improved in so many ways from becoming shared between characters to making new upgrades (like sulphite efficiency or gain), from increasing chance for extra pile to fixing insane RNG behind sulphite ammount roll ( you can get from T16 as much as from maps many tiers below with same Quantity. I wish GGG would get to it :(

I think people just get off on making vast amounts of currency because this endgame is just bad as diablo's if you really think about it.

Ask GGG to make a version of delve that has no suplhite cost, exp gain or loot.

Like I have a choice lol. Would be great to not have to map for hours to run delves for 20 mins though.

Yeah, delves can be incredibly rewarding. When you either get to the city, finally find Aul or just abuse mechanics and farm same depths over and over.

League is gated behind boring mapping? Man every league is "gated behind boring mapping". You can't do incursions if you don't map, you can't do abysses if you don't map and you can't do breaches if you don't map. Maps are the core endgame of PoE man... like is this new to you or what lol? They do kinda feel like a chore when the league mechanic is so far removed from them though.
That's the sole reason i didn't play this league and i'm playing standard instead. Haven't regreted it yet. Also saved time farming shitty rng challenges before they buffed the spawn chances as it happens every league. Maybe the 1 month league will be better with all the mods in EVERY zone.
