So GGG, how's that improved player retention coming along?

Comparing a league that started & progressed at the beginning of the summer holidays period with a league that started at the beginning of a fresh Uni/College/School term, amidst a WoW expansion no less. You, my friend, failed before you even started.

Also, as noted repeatedly elsewhere, Steam is only a portion of the player base.

GGG gave hard numbers at one point recently (think it was incursion?) and people worked out that Steam is about 75% of the playerbase. You can't dismiss it that easily.

Weekend peak to peak 1 month population loss since breach league (using the Steam charts which will be a representative sample of the whole):

Delve 75k to 45k = ~40%
Incur 95k to 42k = ~55%
Beast 81k to 45k = ~44%
Abyss 70k to 51k = ~27%
Harby 98k to 60k = ~38%
Breac 65k to 34k = ~47%

So what interesting things can we gleen from this?

How about, Delve failed to significantly improve player retention?
