Lab is pretty much fine now, deal with it.

Says who? Some random schmuck on the internet. See, lets do the reverse.

Lab is broken, unfun and not needed, deal with it.

Oh, I'm "dealing with it", the lab has been there since ascendancy, and has not changed for a while :).
I'm enjoying running it and enjoying the fact that it's part of the story and character progression.

And I will keep enjoying it, and I have no doubt that you will keep bitching about it while I will be having fun it in.

Cheers.

Oh I know that people without arguments or anything will try to twist words to try to find their way out of a "discussion".

Playing ability to dodge traps shows NOTHING in this game.

Oh yes it does, it shows player that are fine with using their brains and can overcome what the game puts in front of them, without needing to resort to other people's build and Fotm type characters (@arc/totems traps, impulsa, etc ... ).

There is not much patience to be had if the lab is a trivial, quick experience ( even if you don't like running it ), as you are pretending that it's not a test for you.
If it would take more than 10% of your total playtime on a character for example, then yeah ... indeed it would make sense.
But it really doesn't.

SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
You want an argument? Please do tell why not a single lab mechanic was implemented to the core game with the next updates. You, the guy who said that lab somehow prepares us for maps. Lets see what BS can you concoct.

It's definitely not broken, so it does in fact look like you're the one that has to deal with it. :)

If you don't mind me asking, what's your definition of "broken"?

Wait, are you serious or am I not understanding you? Because the laby was folded into the core game in it's entirety. Like, not a single thing was left out. They (traps) even made it into a map.

Edit: It wasn't even a "league", it was an expansion so it is core.
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

My only problem with lab is that ascendency points are gated behind it. I am not saying its horrible content because its very subjectively. Its a content and maybe its even a good content.

If someone likes that kind of gameplay which lab is providing (non-arpg content: traps, keys, darkshrines, puzzles, chests), he can do it whenever he wants, but if certain players dont want this expirience in arpg game they should have an ability to skip it entirely.

Tradable ascendency orbs? For exmaple, it drops only in uberlab and with 5-10% chance for killing Izaro, etc., gives specialisation on first use, and +1 asc point for next used asc orb. There were many propositions from players how to solve this situation.

What bothers me is how developers are handling this, very unflexible. No need of nerfing lab, just dont force this non-arpg content over the players who came to play action-rpg game, thats it.
dead game
bring back 3.13
A mechanic that has no use outside of one very specific scenario is worthless. GGG knows their traps are incredibly broken and unusable in the normal game so they didn't add them even though some guys said how traps are an integral part of an RPG, lmao

You mean, like let's say .. Orchard boss ? or Pier boss ? Or wait, even .. Brutus's room has a similar mechanics to spike traps.

I think I recall a trap room and three whole levels of trap in the incursion temple too ... wait ...

Blatant bad faith spotted.

Where are harbingers outside of harbingers ?
Where are abysses outside of abysses ?
Where are essences outside of essence encounters ?
etc ...

I guess there really is not point trying to "discuss" anything with you.

Brutus had it before the traps were implemented. The Orchard/Plaza bosses have them because they are lab related. The Pier one is the only weird case but it is only one example. GGG never implemented traps in the normal game. I've never seen saw blades when I am casually mapping, why is that? Answer the question please.

Because you're playing the maps that don't have them in it. That was too easy....

Honestly, I think that we should really stop.

"It's not that it's the normal content, this boss has it because because because .... oh yes, it's lab related !!" /rofl.

About Brutus, I don't think that it was there before but it has been a while so I could be wrong.
I mean, you've shown soo much bad faith (I could call them lies but lol) in that last page that I ( or anybody else ) really have no reason to believe anything that you say honestly.
I guess it kind of is entertaining but ... it's going to get odd very quickly.

edit : it was before indeed, mb on that. They might have been starting to work on the lab or considering it when they did it, who knows :))).

Who is lying? I even corrected your lameass response but in typical lab lover fashion you back off and have no proper arguments. As usual. Carry on with your delusions.
