Kitava Act10 - any counter to fire breath?

I don't know why everyone has to exaggerate (aside from this being the internet) and call the safe spot a "pixel" when it's actually a decent little slice that visibly doesn't have any fire on it. All you need to do is run away from the fire (towards the side) and when you run out of space to run, you'll find that you're on the safe spot.

It's kind of intuitive to try to run straight back, though you really don't want to do this. Even so, you can save yourself by portalling out and use the invuln period when you warp back in to wait out the fire.
So, I know this sounds silly, but, is there really an invul period after you portal back into a zone?

I know that after you zone into a new area via routine in-game movement you get a clearly visible invulnerability / mobs-not-aware-of-you timer. This is the first I've heard for an invul period after portaling back into a zone.
Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes?

Yes, we do have invulnerability. Just tested it in Blood Aqueduct. Not sure about Kitava in particular, but doubt it would be any different - after all many streamers do wait a few seconds after portaling in to wait out particularly nasty effects/attacks.

if you are fireres capped, the lvl65 Eternal flask should be enough :/

from what I've noticed, yes, there is a small area on top where you are safe. so go there.

if your goal is to play the game on HC as safe as possible, do a necro summon spectres / zombies and have a vaal skelly ready.

all bosses were basically a joke. kitava didn't get to do even 1 attack. just went through the phases one after another.

melee is much much harder.

Very good to know. Thank you!
